“A-Anna!”
Song screamed as he saw the hole close. The power of Bestia as a World was still vast—it was more than capable of fixing these cracks in space, as long as no otherworldly force was constantly forcing them open.
“Song!”
His mother rushed to his side, hugging him. The boy felt thankful and relieved that his mother was alive after everything that had happened. His recklessness had almost cost them their lives.
“I’m sorry…! I-I didn’t know I had so much power. I couldn’t… I couldn’t control it…! And…”
“I know! That was very reckless, but… I’m glad you’re back!”
“Anna’s clone sent me back, but… she stayed behind, and I don’t know if she’s okay!”
“I’m fine…”
Necro appeared behind the Heavenly Empress, groaning a bit as she touched her forehead.
“That thing directly read into my soul, though. But it seems… it was very shocked at what it learned and tried to assimilate.”
“A-Assimilate?” Song asked.
“What do you mean, Anna?” the Heavenly Empress asked.
“Void Rulers eat Stories, and when it tried to eat mine, well… it couldn’t stomach it,” Necro said. “All of us are currently developing them—our Stories. They have power in the universe; they leave a mark, a proof of our existence. As we live our Stories and progress, as we face challenges and overcome them, the Stories grow more powerful. We can develop Dao Trees within our Souls, and through them, powerful Traits that elevate our existences while generating cosmic energy.”
“T-That’s so…” Song was still a bit confused—that was a lot of information to be told out of nowhere.
“There are countless more layers to the ascension from mortal to Constellation, but that’s roughly the gist of it,” Necro said.
“Then that thing tried to eat your Story?” the Heavenly Empress asked. “But you’re not stronger than it—how did you…?”
“I have no idea… but it might be because of what I told you—that this world… I had read it as a novel,” explained Anna. “I don’t even get it, but somehow that novel is also part of my Story, and… because the novel encompasses this world itself, trying to devour it is like trying to devour all of Reality… impossible.”
“S-So you’re immune to Void Rulers?! Amazing!” Song was shocked and amazed.
“N-No! I’m not really immune to them completely—only if they try to predate my Story…” Necro sighed. “However, if they try to simply crush me to death and shatter my soul, there’s nothing that’ll save me.”
“I see… Even then, to be immune to one of their strongest attacks is still an advantage you could use as a trump card…” the Heavenly Empress said. “However, I suppose against that thing, it might not be possible anymore, as it’s aware of what you can provoke in it… Was it damaged?”
“A lot… It screamed in so much pain—it made my soul shake…” Necro said. “But that only made it angrier. It’ll probably try to—”
RUMBLE!
Crack, crack…!
CRASH!
Suddenly, as Necro was about to explain more, the cracks within Bestia’s sky continued to expand even further, rapidly spreading as gigantic mechanical tentacles with huge metallic pincers started pushing them open.
“Yeah, that…” Necro muttered. “We have to regroup with everyone else—let’s hurry! The Heavenly Demon is still fighting the Demonic Throne Avatar too. We should help him out!”
“Is it strong?” Song wondered. “But Papa can handle it, right?”
“It’s much stronger than Beelzebub or that Spherical Demon that Mammon was using!” Necro gritted her teeth. “Let’s hurry! Quickly! That thing is… it’s the Avatar of that bastard!”
“That… bastard?” Song asked.
“The strongest Demonic Throne… Someone so powerful he even has other Constellations as pets!” Necro said. “Hurry!”
As they flew through the skies as quickly as possible, the Heavenly Demon’s crimson eyes glared into the heavens, cracks continuously spreading further and further.
“This damned world is doomed…! Fucking hell!”
As he cursed, blood dripped from a small wound on his forehead, temporarily covering the vision of his left eye. He quickly wiped it away with his hand, flicking his own blood aside.
His entire body was tattered, covered in bruises and blood. His black feathers had been torn apart in several places, and even his sharp black beak bore a few cracks.
His left wing was shredded, and he looked visibly exhausted—just as he had when he battled that Constellation on his own.
“What’s wrong? Are you done fighting? It seems you’ve given up already… Should I kill you quickly, then? Ah, but it would be such a pity… Your feathers—I love them. Would you like to become my pet instead? I don’t have a bird in my collection yet.”
“…”
The Heavenly Demon glared at the origin of that voice. A cocky, red-skinned demon sat cross-legged above him, a few hundred meters away.
It had fiery red skin covered in golden tattoos, three black horns sprouting from its head, long silvery-white hair, and four pairs of black demonic wings, alongside a long tail with a sharp, stinger-like tip.
The demon looked slender with lean muscles, boasting two pairs of arms with sharp black claws and eyes on the palms of its hands, plus another eye on its bare chest.
Wearing only white baggy pants covering its waist and legs, the handsome demon—with golden eyes and a flawless face—smiled at the Heavenly Demon.
“What’s wrong? You’re not speaking anymore? After bragging about being the strongest… I’m honestly quite disappointed!”
“Heh, you haven’t even seen half of what I can do, you delicate-looking bastard.”
“Hoh? Then go ahead! I’m waiting for your ‘full power’ or whatever! Hahaha!”
The demon laughed, spreading its four arms as it provoked the Heavenly Demon.
Around them lay hundreds of demons. A few minutes ago, there had been five thousand, but the Heavenly Demon had slaughtered over ninety percent of them.
And this demon he now faced had merely watched as his entire army was massacred, clapping and nodding, amused.
Once he asked the Heavenly Demon to become his “pet”—and was rejected with a punch to the face—their fierce battle began.
They fought for only about a minute, and this was the damage the Heavenly Demon had already sustained!
But perhaps that was perfect for a masochistic bastard like him.
“{Seven Demonic Cursed Seals}: {Full Release}!”
RUMBLE!
“Hm?!”
The demon’s eyes widened as a tremendous surge of evil power erupted from the Heavenly Demon. Despite his transformation before, the dark side of him had never left.
If anything, both sides now coexisted, complementing each other through their powers!
After all, despite everything, he would never abandon who he truly was—or the path he’d walked until now.
All seven seals activated as the Heavenly Demon tore off his clothes, revealing his muscular, feathered chest covered with glowing cursed seals in full activation.
Each one released a different-colored mystical flame of evil power—a powerful negative emotion he had infused into his very body.
These evil flames, made of Demonic Ki, merged into his chest, converging into a core of deep darkness.
His body suddenly grew three times as large, more muscular than ever before. His wounds turned into scars, and his missing wing was remade from sheer Ki power.
“How amusing! You’re not a demon like me, and yet your power… It’s so similar to ours—I’m simply at a loss for words! Now I definitely want you in my pet collection, hahahaha!”
The demon stopped sitting cross-legged as he laughed.
RUMBLE!
And then the Heavenly Demon appeared above him in a split second. The demon’s eyes widened—all of them.
BAAAMMM!!!
“UGH?!”
His nose broke as the Heavenly Demon’s fist struck it with all his force concentrated into a single point. The demon’s head nearly twisted his entire neck as he was sent cascading down with immense force, his teeth flying into the sky.
SPLAAASH!
He crashed into the oceans, shaking them with tremendous power, generating a gigantic, turbulent whirlpool as a massive, nuclear-like explosion erupted right afterward.
BOOOMMM!!!
The punch carried even the spiritual force of the Heavenly Demon, triggering a massive explosion upon contact with the foe.
“This is a new technique of mine—did you like it?” the Heavenly Demon smiled proudly.
“I call it {Cursed Fist Explosion}!”
As he laughed, the seas trembled, turning completely black. From within the dark waters, a huge crimson eye opened, glaring at him.
RUMBLE!
The seas then swirled together, rising into the skies. The demon emerged from it, sitting atop the water, looking like he was enjoying it despite his swollen face and bleeding, broken nose.
“Hahaha! Amazing! Show me more! I like my pets as fierce as possible!”
“You really don’t understand, huh? I’m not going to become your pet, shithead!”
CLAAASH!

Honestly would be funny if Anna turned him into a Pet since he loves them so much 😂
