The tornado clashed against the massive wave of darkness and light. As both elemental attacks erupted and exploded midair, they generated a gigantic tremor that spread through the rest of the sky.

BOOOMMM!!!

The attack was successfully negated, but the demonic sphere appeared above the Heavenly Empress, moving at a speed that surprised even her.

“You…!”

“BLEH…”

The thing made a strange sound, opening its jaws and pointing its tongue at her!

It attempted to wrap its tongue around her and devour her in one single bite, like frogs do when they catch their prey.

“Don’t underestimate me.”

The slashing attacks ended up hitting the demons behind the spherical demon, cutting them down by the hundreds and reducing them to ashes one after another.

However, the spherical demon was never hit, its long tongue growing longer until it wrapped around one of the armament’s arms.

“That monster! Can it teleport?!” Song wondered. “Mother, be careful!”

Song rushed to help, but it was too late. The creature dragged one of the arms and devoured it instantly, swallowing it.

“GULP…!”

“Bastard, you think you can eat anything?!”

The Heavenly Empress was more irritated than usual this time, perhaps due to the things she had gone through in this very long day already.

“BURP.”

As the creature burped, suddenly, a huge black tumor grew on its left side. She quickly attacked it while it began to transform, her five arms trying to slice through its body.

And yet, it moved incredibly fast—so fast it seemed to teleport! As it moved, the large tumor on its left side rapidly grew larger and longer until…

It became a massive arm made of black steel, with five long fingers, holding a huge sword of light and darkness…

“I-It copied my Imperial Armament?!”

As the Heavenly Empress was shaken by this monster’s strange powers, Song reached them, quickly attacking it with all he had.

A pseudo-domain of Heavenly Light and Darkness embodying Yin and Yang manifested around his body as his long wings spread out beautifully.

He combined the Essence of Heaven and Earth and Yin and Yang seamlessly, manifesting a huge sphere of pure harmony.

Song roared, launching it at the spherical demon, which quickly swung its large arm and attempted to grab the sphere and eat it!

The spherical demon’s eye widened. The explosion, created using the power of Song’s [Divine Domain of White and Black Heaven’s Balance] Skill, engulfed it.

It was unable to “teleport” like before, as Song’s attack was a pseudo-domain that twisted space around it, resembling an invisible bubble around the sphere.

He had purposely launched it at the monster to bait it into trying to eat it, as it tried to eat anything it saw!

The creature made a strange, painful sound as its external body seemed to have shattered like glass. Pieces of black glass-like material fell from it, revealing a strange flesh-and-muscle-like interior made of gooey miasma and red blood.

Its eye had exploded, leaving a huge hole where it should’ve been, and it was constantly burning with deadly flames of Light and Darkness.

“Did you actually expect that we would be easy prey?! Mom! Let’s kill it quickly!”

“On it!”

As mother and son charged into battle, the spherical demon opened its jaws, revealing its long red tongue, which had become black and white…

FLUOSH!

And from within, a small sphere of light and darkness manifested, copying Song’s technique in an instant.

“It copied my…?!”

The sphere of light reached mother and son in a second, unleashing a massive explosion—not as big as the one Song unleashed, but big enough to send them flying away with bruises and bleeding wounds over their feathers and skin.

The eyeless spherical demon continued overflowing with cosmic demonic energy given to it by its avatar. It quickly manifested dozens of these spheres, which began to rotate around its own body.

“It seems to be a rather tricky enemy to deal with…” the Heavenly Empress said, her heart beating faster and faster. “But I believe we can beat it, as long as we synchronize our strength and fight as one, my son.”

“As one?” Song wondered. “H-How do I do that, Mother?”

“It’s easy,” the Heavenly Empress said, glancing at Anna’s Egos. “Would you two help us out?”

The Egos glanced at one another. They were about to join the battle, but they knew they were quite frail themselves. Egos could easily die from one or two blows from a foe as strong as that Spherical Demon, so they had planned on long-range attacks.

However, the Heavenly Empress’s idea seemed much better.

“Oh, I see what you’re trying to do, Master,” Yin nodded. “Very well.”

“We’ll also lend you a part of our power,” Necro said. “So use it well!”

The two Egos rushed toward Song and the Heavenly Empress, their bodies turning completely ethereal and then wrapping around the two of them.

At the same time, dozens of spheres of blinding harmony rushed toward them—smaller versions of Song’s attack, but conjured dozens of times over, making them ultimately even more threatening!

The spherical demon had no eye to see anymore, but its cosmic demonic aura senses easily allowed it to patrol its surroundings, trying to find where they had gone.

Yes, the spherical demon actually teleported, and it did so by sending a signal of demonic energy toward a spot of its choice, then letting this signal dig into space and drag it there within an instant.

It was actually a rather rudimentary method of teleportation developed by this demon species, specifically to move easily across their original habitat.

And because of it, Anna was able to quickly plan to predict its trajectory!

“GRRHH…!”

The Spherical Demon groaned angrily, quickly spinning in midair and stopping its fall, glaring at Song above the skies.

This entire time, it had been trying to regenerate its wounds, and yet it could not—covered by strange energies, Ki, which infected it and stopped regeneration. The monster was struggling.

It spread its tongue around its body, licking its wounds and trying to eat the energies blocking regeneration as it summoned more Spheres of Harmony.

However…

“{Heavenly Sword of Hope}!”

FLAAASH!

A huge sword of golden flames manifested out of nowhere, coming from beneath the sphere. Its eye widened as it tried to quickly teleport away.

Only for Song to greet it with a pair of swords of his own, made of black bones of darkness and white bones of light, conjured and assembled by Necro, who had given them to Song.

Song swung his blades. The spherical demon fired its Spheres of Harmony against his sword as several explosions engulfed the blades, but they continued rushing down. Two gigantic slicing waves were about to hit it!

SLAAASH! SLAAASH!

The demon opened its jaws, about to devour both slicing waves while firing a giant beam of demonic cosmic energy from its empty eye socket, but…

“GRYACK?!”

The monster was unable to devour it as it wanted. The potency of the slash cut its tongue apart, and the beam it fired was easily deflected by the Heavenly Empress’s Sword of Light!

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

As countless explosions reverberated through the frenetic battle, Song appeared behind the monster as it tried to evade his mother’s slash, only for the monster to manifest dozens of huge arms made of black metal, encompassed by layers of more armor made of Harmony!

As Song realized this, he quickly activated the Cursed Seals within his armor, made of Yin’s ethereal form, and overflowed with emotions of Hatred, Wrath, and Sorrow.

“{Freezing Flames of Wrathful Sorrow}! {Infernal Winter of Hatred}!”

By combining the elements, cursed seals, and his own powers, Song unleashed an explosion of freezing flames that suddenly slowed down the dozens of metallic arms. At the same time, he unleashed a powerful snowstorm that encompassed and froze them even more until the ice turned red and exploded, melting the metallic arms!

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

“GRAGH?!”

The spherical demon was left speechless, only for the Heavenly Empress to appear behind it. The creature quickly opened its jaws, suddenly and desperately summoning something within!

And then, another crimson eye emerged from the interior of its mouth as relentless, eternal darkness spread everywhere, engulfing both Song and his mother.

“Careful! This is Void! The demon is trying to devour you both by exposing its own stomach!”

As Yin screamed to the two, the Heavenly Empress and Song resisted the power of the Void, unleashing their powerful Auras and spreading them.

“This Void…! Its power is tremendous! What in the world is this thing?!”

As the Heavenly Empress was beginning to drag into the demon’s maws, her aura and her armor merged into one.

“{Heavenly Graveyard of Demonic Spirits}!”

The power of Necro merged with the Heavenly Empress’s power of Hope, summoning a horde of almost a thousand demons made of the souls of the demons killed earlier. The massive number of demons quickly pushed toward every angle, beginning to tear apart the Void by their sheer volume.

“GUGH?!”

The spherical demon forced its Void to consume them, rapidly beginning to eat the demonic undead one by one!

However…

“If all you want is to eat, then eat! Eat as much as you want!!!”

Song screamed furiously. The powers of Yin’s Demonic Cursed Seals made his abilities unstable but even more potent than before.

Through the [Divine Dao Child of Fate Aura] Skill he had, Song unleashed his powers at maximum, releasing an aura of darkness and light that encompassed everything!
