The Heavenly Martial Empress Returns Chapter 294: The Baby Fire Dragon Is Here

Once in my garden, I summoned the Volcanic Dragon with the Elixir of Youth effect applied to him right away.

FLUOSH!

“Raaaarrrr!”

And as digital pixels, demonic energy, and my heavenly ki converged together, an adorable little, red-scaled dragon appeared.

The Baby Fire Dragon!

“Hey, little one, how are you?”

I quickly knelt and caressed the little thing’s head. He looked at me with his big, cute eyes, confused about the situation, expecting yet another duel.

“No duels for now. I’ve summoned you outside of them using my Authority. Your previous master is dead; I killed him.”

“Gryaarr?”

He was confused, probably didn’t understand a single thing, the little guy. But I think he knows I am his master and that there isn’t any immediate battle.

For the first time, he was allowed to just walk, look around, smell the air, and play around—timidly looking at the nearby butterflies before he started chasing them, running around the garden.

“Hahaha! You seem very spirited!”

I giggled. The little baby fire dragon was very happy once he realized he could walk and run all he wanted, no longer confined to just being a card monster that would remain in a single space and fight or die.

“Come on, come here! Aren’t you hungry? Have you ever eaten something before, boy?”

The little baby fire dragon ran to my side, looking at me with his big, cute eyes while wagging his little tail. I offered him a piece of meat with some bone from the many meats I had stored inside my inventory.

“Eat up; it’s all yours.”

“Graaarrr!”

He happily started chowing down once he sniffed the meat, biting the meat off the bone and enjoying every single little bit of it. Then he started eating the bone itself too.

“Kirby! Where are you? I got you a new friend!”

As I called for Kirby, who was usually eating monsters out there or sometimes teleported into another dimension, he quickly appeared through a small hole that emerged in the empty air.

Yes, Kirby, my little Void Slime—he is the same adorable pink ball of love, and he can now move around strange dimensions that I’ve only seen glimpses of, and I would rather not visit.

Bizarre dimensions where things don’t seem right at all… And only he can get there. Indeed…

He helped in the last war by dispatching a lot of the spaceships full of the invading Saurians, and then he ate a lot of the invading soldiers over at Washington, D.C., and… well, he ate a lot.

“Pyuuuhh! Poogyoo?”

He looked at me with his little black eyes, confused as to why I called him out of the blue.

“I got you a new friend here! He’s Baby Fire Dragon… Ah, right, should I give him a name? Vulcan!”

“Raaarrr!”

The little dragon glowed brightly as he was named. His aura grew stronger out of nowhere; although his appearance remained the same, he gained a golden sun-shaped tattoo on his forehead.

“Oh, he still has the stats of a card… Well, I guess it can’t be changed; he’s a strange and special case after all,” I nodded. “But his stats sure increased! Twenty thousand for everything?! Now imagine if he can set up a flame domain—then it’s game over… Wait, how do stats from cards even apply against other foes? I’ll have to experiment with that later…”

“Pogyooo?” Kirby slowly approached Vulcan, looking to be friendly.

“Gyaaaarr!” Vulcan roared cutely, noticing a little butterfly on his nose.

And then he cutely sneezed some flames out of his snout, making Kirby surprised. He got happy and started bouncing, and Vulcan began following him around. The two started chasing each other.

“Aww, they made friends so quickly! I’m so happy,” I smiled, looking at my two pets playing around. “Come to think of it, I do have some items I haven’t used… I received them from the Second Tower Floor. Among them, there was another egg. Should I use it?”

I looked at my inventory, and there they were, all the items… I should perhaps use them now that I think about it. It has been a while now.

The items were: [Divine Physique Growth Elixir (SSS Grade)] x20, [Divine Magic Growth Elixir (SSS Grade)] x20, [Divine Martial Power Growth Elixir (SSS Grade)] x20, [Platinum Weapon Ticket (SSS Grade)] x1, [Platinum Armor Ticket (SSS Grade)] x1, [Platinum Accessory Ticket (SSS Grade)] x1, [Divine Skill Book (SSS Grade)] x2, [Divine Skill Fusion Ticket (SSS Grade)] x2, [All Skill Slots +1 Ticket (SSS+ Grade)] x1, [Divine Monster Pet Egg (SSS+ Grade)] x1, [Platinum System Gachapon (SSS Grade)] x5.

I doubt any of those weapons or equipment could even amount to the strength of what I already have, but maybe they could be nice gifts for other people—such as Bloodclaw, my disciples, or perhaps my children? Maybe even other Saurians we’re befriending.

I could also do some Skill Fusion for fun and see what weird Skills I can obtain. The last time I did this, I obtained something as amazing as that Demonic Library, giving me access to those demons, demonic spells, demon knowledge, and the cute Belze.

Without that Skill, I wouldn’t have been able to win against Belphegor, as Belze and the information I learned from the books became a vital centerpiece for my victory.
