To Beelzebub, his battle against Anna and the rest of the Hunters was only a few weeks ago, and also the time Anna went to this other world was merely a couple of hours.

However, to Anna, it has been months since she left; as she trained and lived within the Inner Realm of her masters and adoptive parents, she was able to extend the time she spent in this place several times over.

Through this and her arduous, never-ending training that pushed her beyond her limits and even further than that, where she had to fight for her life more than once, she learned the philosophy of both demons, went through several awakenings and enlightenments…

Anna had become a completely different being altogether!

And above all…

“What with that strange mechanical armor she’s wearing?! It is a living being by itself?! And there are also two other cosmic presences within her—no wait, her own presence is also cosmic?! D-Don’t tell me!”

Beelzebub couldn’t believe it; Anna had already gone beyond everything he had ever imagined, and she was already stepping into a realm that he couldn’t even get to yet!

All because he was dethroned, all because he was pushed down! Becoming a Death Apostle was between a Mortal and a Constellation, an existence that wasn’t quite defined and one that endlessly sought power across the worlds they tormented.

Naturally, the Demon, whose plans to become stronger and obtain a powerful vessel were taken away not once, but twice, by Anna and the rest, felt utterly furious.

His frustration reached its limits as his shredded body rapidly began growing more—flesh, exoskeleton, blood vessels, and organs—within mere seconds.

“{Demonic Rebirth}!”

FLAAASH!

“Hm?”

Anna glanced as Beelzebub rapidly recovered his entire body once more and noticed the near endless quantity of demonic energy overflowing from his body.

“You thought that would’ve been enough?!” Beelzebub roared furiously. “I’ve also grown stronger, you damn brat! I am not the same as before! With the power of Lucifer and Mammon within me, I have become their ultimate Demonic Avatar!”

“He seems slightly stronger than before…” Anna analyzed his Aura without even hearing what he was talking about. “That technique he used to fully regenerate probably allows him to grow a little stronger the more damage he takes, huh? And he relies heavily on demonic energy.”

As Anna thought of that, she quickly glanced at the Demon King, Nemesis, who was in shambles; his body had received great damage from Beelzebub and was greatly weakened. Although even if he had been beheaded he wouldn’t have died, she knew that he would grow weak enough that even Beelzebub could absorb him.

Healing him through her normal methods wouldn’t work either, as he would only receive damage from holy healing techniques; therefore, she touched his body and, at the same time, conjured several runes, combining them with her own techniques.

Her Cursed Seals activated, rapidly gathering Demonic Ki into the palm of her hands, and then she infused it into the Demon King, creating a technique that healed demons.

“{Demonic Rebirth}”

“Wha…?!”

Beelzebub’s eyes widened as he saw how Anna just copied his own technique, infusing it into the Demon King and fully healing all his wounds instantly!

At the same time, his body seemed more robust and stronger! Although this cost her quite a lot of Ki and Demonic Energy, she had plenty now after growing so strong.

“You copied my technique after only seeing it once?!” Beelzebub asked in disbelief. “Impossible! It is an innate Ability that the Demons—”

“Innate Ability? Any ability or supernatural power is quantified by a certain amount of power and energy used, even if used in the body or outside. As long as someone can understand how it’s done and has the resources to replicate, it’s completely possible to use it even if you weren’t born with it or had it gifted to you.”

Anna spoke with the wisdom of a venerable; the Demon felt stupid, as if he was the child here now and Anna was the one that was actually older.

“What kind of bullshit is that?! There’s simply no way that’s possible!”

Beelzebub rushed towards Anna, his stronger, enhanced body overflowing with new strength! He swung his sharp, blade-like claws against her.

“You’re merely bluffing!”

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

A barrage of slashing attacks reached Anna, resembling slicing waves made of black and dark red energy. Anna’s eyes shone brightly like stars as her Aura erupted from her body; her mechanical suit and also her familiar, Fang Shuan, merged their powers with hers. His huge mechanical body compressed around her, becoming a full-body armor that became more compacted, further concentrating his power.

“{Brilliant Nova}!”

FLAAASH!

Beelzebub felt his entire body burning against the brilliant light! His attacks were completely nullified. Before they could even reach Anna, they dissipated and were unable to even harm her.

To make things worse, this powerful light pushed him back with the force of a powerful shockwave.

Anna was shining so brightly she resembled a small star!

“W-What in the world is this?! Ugh…!”

Beelzebub didn’t stop suffering, as he suddenly felt his parameters lowering; his physical strength, magical power, magical conductivity, and even his speed, all reduced.

As the light continued coming from Anna’s body never-endingly, she glanced at him, pointing her mechanical hands at him.

“Know your place.”

“Huh?!”

Beelzebub gasped in disbelief as dozens of bright golden laser beams emerged from Anna’s hands, another basic power from her physique. As he screamed in agony, his entire body was covered with small holes, burning his flesh and blood into ashes. Anna continued firing her laser beams from her fingertips rapidly, without even bothering to use her sword techniques against such a bug.

“S-STOP…! STOP! STOOOP!”

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Beelzebub kept screaming and crying in agony and pain; his entire body was crumbling into pieces as Anna didn’t stop at all!

His desperation reached its limits; while in agony and despair over the situation, Beelzebub unleashed the power of his soul at full swing.

“{D-Demonic Domain Expansion}: {Accursed Battlefield of Death}!!!”

FLAAASH!

Anna glanced around her surroundings, as she felt her light being suppressed; everything changed, as she found herself floating above a battlefield with hundreds of thousands of corpses everywhere.

These corpses resembled demons of all shapes and sizes; some were humanoid and purple or red-skinned, others looked like insects, some like beasts, others like reptilians and more.

Across this dark battlefield, there was only the putrid scent of death and decomposition, blood and organs; there wasn’t a single soul left.

All were dead; everything was lost.

The broken armor of warriors, the bloodstained banners belonging to ancient demon nations, the sky was dark and cloudy, and the wind was strong.

“…”

Anna felt her power being suppressed; this was a land that seemed to completely suppress the power of light or celestials.

“Interesting trick; although you’re very weak, you’re quite capable with your techniques and magic, Beelzebub. You have my praise. Your tenacity is incredible.”

“{Demonic Rebirth}!”

Beelzebub recovered his wounds; Anna didn’t stop him, as he felt slightly stronger again. The pain he was suffering was paying off in the end.

“I admit you’re strong! But if you only rely on the power of the celestials to defeat demons, then you will face your demise here!”

He started flying in midair, pointing his claws forward, as his dark essence spread everywhere.

RUMBLE!

To Anna’s amused eyes, she saw thousands of Undead Demons standing up, their corpses reanimated into Beelzebub’s servants.

“I see! So your Domain gives you an endless army of the dead?”

“Hah! That’s right… Something you could never do on your own, pathetic child.”

“Interesting! This is giving me a lot of new ideas… Thanks a lot.”

“Huh?! Still with that attitude despite the situation in which you are now?! KILL HER!”

Beelzebub stayed far away from Anna, as he ordered his Undead to kill her instead.

That she floated above the skies didn’t matter; all the Undead flew towards her rapidly.

Some used their decaying wings; others used their ghostly souls to lift them like ghosts.

“Kill! Graaaggh!”

“Massacre! Gryaaahh!”

“All must face their end! Uuaaargh!”

The Demonic Undead whispered with their own tongues and words as they rushed towards Anna! Now that her light was suppressed, it felt like she was hopeless.

And yet…

“Let’s become friends, shall we?”

Anna winked at them, a wave of pink light encompassing thousands of Undead at once.

“H-Huh?”

Beelzebub’s big, insect-like eyes were glancing at the situation without even understanding what she just did.

However, it worked.

The Undead stopped moving altogether!

They glanced at Anna and then…

Pop! Pop! Pop!

Adorable heart-shaped pink-colored auras surged from their bodies; little ethereal hearts constantly emerged and then disappeared while releasing cute popping sounds.

“W-What the…?!”

Beelzebub was dumbfounded.

“Surprised? This is the power of Love, Beelzebub!”

“T-THE WHAT?!”

“Didn’t you know? I am the Venerable of Love in this world! I can manipulate and control the Love of people or create it within people. Of course, usually it wouldn’t work against so many like this, but…”

Anna had another amazing Skill; well, several of them related to the undead and controlling them! Thanatos’ Stigma, for starters, granted her incredible affinity with all the Undead; her Specialization too granted her these powers, and lastly, the privilege [Death’s Little Sister].

These powers, when combined with her recent awakening of the power of [Love], created something completely ridiculous and yet perfect for this situation.

“J-JUST KILL HER ALREADY!”

Beelzebub infused more and more demonic power into his domain; thousands of Undead rushed towards Anna.

And yet!

“Will you guys become my friends~?”

Her mere words were like a deadly spell; the Undead instantly stopped moving by the thousands, their eyes turning into big, pink-colored hearts.

“Yeessss!”

“Graaahhh!”

“Friend!”

“Anna… cute!”

They raised their arms and cheered for Anna, while also making noises that seemed strangely cute…

“A-Ah…”

Beelzebub, a demon that had lived with a very serious, depressing, and realistic worldview, was left speechless as he saw such power.

A power that went beyond anything he thought possible.

“T-This is…!”

Beelzebub stepped back as he saw the Undead he had raised glaring at him.

“Wait a second… I made you! You’re literally part of my damn Domain!”

“Kill him.”

Anna gave them an order, and all the Undead formed a massive wave of pure death, rushing towards Beelzebub and transforming into a gigantic fist!

“{Undead Manipulation Arts}: {Undeath Swarm Fist}”

Anna channeled her Ki into all the Undead, combining them into gigantic masses of pure death and wielding them as weapons.

Beelzebub was unable to defend at all, with punches coming from every single angle constantly!

BAAAM!

“D-DAMMIT!”

BAAAM!

“STOP THIS, YOU DAMN…!”

BAAAM!

“YOU’RE ALL MY CREATIONS! WHY ARE YOU NOT—AGH!”

BAAAM!

“AAAAGGGGHH! SCREW THIS!”

His body was already battered by countless blows as he grasped the spatial structure of his Domain and destroyed it out of desperation!

Crack, crack…!

CRAAASH!

As the Domain came undone, Anna reached him within a split second, turning into pure lightning and arriving in front of him.

The Undead were gone, part of his Domain, but that didn’t matter to her; she could fight all on her own perfectly fine too.

“{Starlight}!”

Anna’s {Brilliant Nova} form was back, and with it she unleashed the power of {Starlight}, another Ability from her Physique.

Starlight was simple; it allowed her to conjure and manipulate Starlight, which dealt damage against foes.

This, combined with Brilliant Nova’s light, allowed Anna to unleash the brightest of laser beams, covering Beelzebub with holes once more.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The demon groaned in frustration and agony, quickly swinging his claws as his Aura emerged from his body, resembling a monstrous insectoid giant, which attacked Anna at full power.

“{Demonic Aura Manifestation}: {Twelve-Armed Insect War God}!”

Anna remained still as the attacks reached her, explosions of black flames and corrosiveness engulfing her completely.

And yet…

“U-Unscathed?!”

Beelzebub reacted with even more surprise; Anna was undamaged; not even Fang Shuan’s mechanical armor form was hurt.

“As I told you before, Beelzebub… Know your place.”

Anna’s eyes shone brightly, as an immense pressure weighed over Beelzebub, suppressing his demonic aura and making it dissipate instantly!

RUMBLE!

At the same time, his magic became weaker and slower to conjure, and he felt his internal body beginning to break down and explode.

“H-HOW…?! HOW IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO… SO BIG?!”

Beelzebub was filled with grief and awe, frustration and pain, as he clawed his way towards Anna, trying to reach her as much as he could.

“I have not even shown you a tenth of what I can do now. You’re simply outclassed.”

The once threatening menace was now being reduced to nothing but a bug before her, even though he was already quite literally one.

“Hey, guys, come out.”

Anna didn’t waste time, as the Purgatory Portal opened behind her, and from there, several Demons emerged one after another. She hadn’t summoned them this whole time, mostly because she didn’t need their help, but right now they might become rather useful at something.

“You’re…!”

As Beelzebub was being suppressed by Anna’s tremendous pressure, his eyes glanced at the figures emerging.

They were all those he had betrayed before.

The Death Apostles.
