The Celestial Sky Whale was a massive Blue Whale-like monster that was completely white, surrounded by white and fluffy clouds.

The two beasts charged forward, rushing directly towards Bing Xue!

He planned to simply step on the trap cards anyway; his monster stats were so high they would serve no purpose and have no effect, the same way Bing Xue did with her own when she used her Baby Fire Dragon.

As Bing Xue spoke, the Sky Whale attacked first, roaring furiously.

It ended up striking Bing Xue’s card, as a giant mirror manifested.

The mirror contained the damage and then fired a psychic beam towards Belphegor.

BOOM!

“Heh…”

“That’s all you could do! And it's still not enough, you stupid fucking bitch! HAHAHAHAHA!”

As the Sky Whale finished its turn, a storm of winds manifested around him, pushing Bing Xue and hitting her passively.

Her Life Points went down automatically…

[LIFE POINTS: 34.500 -> 24.500]

“Ten thousand damage per turn?! A Tier 7 Monster for sure…!”

As Bing Xue was surprised over the damage, the Blood Queen reached her…

Only for her to smile, waving her hand.

“Not so fast! I activate my upside-down cards!” Bing Xue said.

Suddenly, several cards activated at once.

“IT’S USELESS, BING XUE!”

Belphegor laughed; his monsters were so tough they could simply never die from them.

The first card to activate was…

Aging Curse!

FLASH!

A card showing a little boy suddenly turning into an old man manifested.

The Aging Curse hit the Blood Queen, but…

“Hehehe…!”

She giggled, not affected in the slightest.

“IDIOT! The Aging Curse would never affect a vampire; they’re ageless beings!”

“Is that so?”

FLASH!

The second card activated, Bear Trap!

A bear trap appeared, which the Blood Queen ended up stepping into.

“Ugh…”

She barely made an annoyed face, but she received some damage.

Her Life Points went down by 3.000!

“Two more cards and you’re done for!”

Belphegor laughed as the next card activated.

And that card was…

Villager Riot!

FLASH!

It showed the image of a group of villagers raising pitchforks and making a riot.

This weak Tier 1 card had a very simple effect.

It puts a stop to any card that steps into it for 1 turn.

The Blood Queen glared at the villagers around her, stopping her from moving.

“Yes, that’s right, it can do that, but only if the monster is actually of Tier 3 and below! Any stronger and the monster can overpower the card effect! Blood Queen, destroy them!”

The Blood Queen laughed as her hands grew into giant claws, tearing apart the mob of villagers by the dozens!

Until nothing was left behind between her and Bing Xue…

Except the last, very last card…

“Bing Xue! You’re going to…!”

As Belze panicked, the last card activated.

“This is it, Bing Xue! Your soul is mine!”

Belphegor raised his arms, and the card was, of course…

Phantom Hand!

A card showing a hand that was composed of phantasmal energy.

“You have activated my trap card, Phantom Hand! It allows me to trespass a monster’s life points and deal direct damage based on the number of lives that it has taken!”

“A weak card! It won’t work! You have not used a single monster card!”

“You think so? It doesn’t say that it needs monster cards specifically.”

“…?!”

As Belphegor’s eyes widened, realizing what was happening, Bing Xue smiled.

FLAAASH!

Suddenly, dozens of little souls appeared everywhere.

The souls of all the villagers!

“B-But those were only part of a spell card! How can they count as living beings?!”

“Who knows? You made the rules; I am simply abusing them!” Bing Xue laughed. “Unlike you, a cheater that twists rules for his favor, I abuse them.”

“S-SHUT UP!!! BLOOD QUEEN! KILL HER!!!”

Belphegor roared angrily as the Blood Queen attempted to attack Bing Xue, but her Trap Card activated ahead of time.

BOOOM!

And an explosion of phantom flames engulfed the vampire, dealing damage equal to the amount of lives she had taken, with each life being 1000 life points.

The riot was composed of fifty villagers…

The result?

“Gryyaaaaeeeehhhh!”

The Vampire died, burning into ashes in agony as the souls of the people she slaughtered came for revenge.

“S-Shit! She won again…?! No, it doesn’t matter! I can just win next turn; she shouldn’t—”

FLASH!

However, Belphegor realized too late the secondary effect of the Phantom Hand.

It attacked a monster, and as a phantasmal attack, it passed through it, reaching any monster behind it for double damage.

If the monster, however, wasn’t present…

The Duelist was the one to receive damage.

“You lost, Belphegor! This is what you underestimated: the usefulness of cards and their synergy beyond just monsters and bigger numbers! You have eyes but can’t see Mount Tai!”

“D-DON’T FUCK WITH MEEEEE!”

The giant phantasmal fist hit Belphegor directly as an explosion of phantom flames engulfed him completely!

BOOMMM!!!

[Life Points: 5.000 -> 0]

FLASH!

The entire Duel Dimension trembled, as Belphegor, pathetically thrown into the floor, had lost!

His demons glanced at the scene in disbelief.

Nobody could believe this, in fact.

“W-We… we have a victor…! It’s… It’s Bing Xue…”

The referee couldn’t believe it either, as he muttered in a very low voice.

“Now Belphegor, as promised, give me back the souls.”

“N-NO!!!”

Belphegor roared angrily, as he quickly stood back up.

“I WON’T GIVE YOU SHIT—AH?!”

However, to his surprise, the Souls of the Mechanical Gods flew towards Bin Xue, as beautiful, crystalized cores.

“Belphegor! Did you forget? When we were created, the Celestial Father sentenced us to a terrible curse!” Belze said, as Belphegor’s eyes widened. “Anything we promise must be fulfilled; promises cannot be broken as long as we make a deal with a mortal!”

“N-No…! NOOOO!!!”

As Belphegor complained, feeling his vessel growing weaker, Bing Xue appeared above him, storing both souls inside her Inner Realm.

And her sword rushed down towards his throat.

“Now that we are done, I’ll waste no time!”

“What are you doing…?!”
