Amen, brother. There are so many good movies left to watch. Reacting to a movie takes two hours plus post production time. Reacting to a series could take dozens of hours to produce. Plus, since I (and I presume a lot of other viewers) like to watch reactions only after I’ve watched it so there are no spoilers I’m stuck in a situation where I have to watch a dozen hours of a series so I can watch the reaction video. With most of the older movies I’ve seen them already so I can watch the reaction right away. Anyway I agree, fewer episodic series and more stand-alone movies. Thanks

2025-12-21 16:58:18 +0000 UTCLooking over the comments, I just wanted to chime in that I really like Game of Thrones, it's a great show, but (and I recognize I'm probably in the minority) I'd rather watch a bunch of shorter series on the channel that take maybe 1-2 months to catch up on than a single 100 episode series that will take up to 6 months of time to finish. Me, I'd prefer Andor and Fall Out and Ted Lasso and season 5 of Stranger Things in the time it would take to watch all of GoT. Not to mention if, say, Addie starts watching some 60-100 hour long series and finds out early on she doesn't like it much then that's kind of a bummer if she feels stuck with it for 3-6 months. At least with shorter shows if they don't work out then it's just a few weeks lost. And there are a TON of really good shows with under 40 episodes total that Addie hasn't watched on the channel (I'm not sure which ones she may or may not have seen offline since she doesn't track that on Letterboxd or anything. 🤷🏻♂️) Just spitballing off the top of my head, there's Agatha All Along, The Bear, Peacemaker, Invincible, Good Omens, Reacher, The Queen's Gambit, Sandman, Severance, Barry, Dark, Murderbot, Mindhunter, etc. Even something like The Boys is "only" 32 episodes in the first four seasons so far if you're looking for something on the upper end of that spectrum. Mind you, if Addie did watch, for instance, Breaking Bad plus Better Call Saul (123 episodes total) for example I wouldn't complain and it's not the end of the world by any means, those shows are awesome. But I do enjoy the variety of a lot of smaller shows, just my opinion. Anyway, there's my two cents, don't spend it all in one place! 😄

2025-12-21 01:15:03 +0000 UTCI did notice the new camera when you switched, excellent clear resolution, and I'm not surprised you went on a little rant about figuring out the audio. I'm relieved to know it sometimes just takes time, but it eventually gets figured out.
