I wasn't originally going to watch this one (it was second place in the poll but still significantly behind First Blood), but I didn't realize that a remake of this was coming out this week! I felt like this might be a good time to watch this one! I don't think this one makes it into my sci-fi/action favs, but Arnold is so fun to watch as always. Enjoy!

Addie, I gotta say, I love just how OFFENDED you always are when the villains lie. It seems like you get more angry every time they repeat the lie. Stephen King may be best known for his horror books, but he's written in so many different genres, and sometimes even has a happy ending. So it's not an automatic "His books are ALWAYS sad and scary". I haven't read the original "The Running Man" so I can't say where it falls on the scale, but it's possible it's more lighthearted than his name would make you think (Again, I haven't read it, I'm just saying it's not an AUTOMATIC downer).
