THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS - Full Length Reaction!

Here's the full length reaction to The Fantastic Four: First Steps! This was a lot of fun to watch, and I LOVED the style/design of everything!! Looking forward to seeing them in Avengers: Doomsday next year. Enjoy!

I actually enjoyed this one, It was well done. I did not think I would like it as much as I did.

There's a song in the end credits called "Let Us Be Devoured." Plays near the end. It's really funny. About being eaten by Galactus.

This one was fun! Dunno if you noticed that Sarah Niles, who plays the Doc on Ted Lasso, was Lynne in this movie.

I like this one, especially the aesthetics. 😊 The setting definitely has a fun vibe to it, even the Marvel title card in the beginning is in that motif. Also Silver Surfer and Galactus look terrific, their effects are pretty top notch. The acting is also pretty solid. I think the weakest part of the movie is just that everything is really good, but I didn't come out of it with any break out character moments or dialogs that I feel like I'll be thinking about or talking about long after the movie is over. For example, comparing it to Thunderbolts for a second, I feel like that film had more fun character moments (especially Red Guardian who kind of stole most of the scenes he was in), or to say the third Guardians of the Galaxy which has a lot of moving dramatic moments but also some very fun dialog. Fantastic Four in comparison feels like a movie I'll remember enjoying when I watched it but not a movie I'll be quoting, if that makes sense? 🤷‍♂️ So I think I'd put this at probably 7.5 out of 10. I had a good time, I think it's an above average super hero movie, but looking through the list of MCU films I think it doesn't quite crack the top 10 for me.

Dimension-828 is an homage to the late Jack Kirby. He co-created them with the late Stan Lee, and he was born on August 28, 1917. By the way, after they finished working on this film Vanessa Kirby had actually become pregnant with her first child. She recently welcomed that child to the world. What I loved the most about this movie is the dynamic between the four members of this team and the 60s-style aesthetic. By the way, in case you don’t know the movie’s director Matt Shakman previously directed all of WandaVision. Also, HERBIE is so cute. He's the kind of reliable robotic companion I would want to have around same with BB-8. I can just envision the two of them working together and understanding each other despite having beeps that sound different. In the recent years, Ebon Moss-Bachrach has starred in the Hulu/FX show The Bear where there's A LOT of cooking involved. When I showed the teaser trailer to my sister, we joked how this cooking scene was a shoutout to his role. Y'all should totally check it out sometime in the future. Also, it just got renewed for a season five. Honestly, I'm so glad they didn't kill off Galactus. He's one of the most powerful Marvel villains if not the most powerful of them all. This means there's a possibility we may have a multitude of heroes take him on in the future. The next MCU movie will be Spider-Man: A Brand New Day slated for late July of next year followed by Doomsday in December which by the way has just wrapped filming. Secret Wars is set for December 2027. In the meantime, the next live-action MCU show is slated for this year’s holiday season. It’s called Wonder Man, and it’ll be eight episodes long. Until then, you should consider finally checking out Agatha All Along just in time for Halloween.
