Based on our latest poll, it looks like I'll be watching a few war movies this month, so I wanted to balance that out with something light and heartwarming! I'm planning on watching the second one, so I wanted a refresher on this movie (it's been ten years since I've seen this one). I think this is a movie that will make you emotional no matter how many times you watch it! This is such a gem, and I can't wait to watch the second one! Enjoy!

Fantastic movie. 😄 Lots of great stuff, I think one of my favorite little bits is how they depict the stages of abstract thought and, when they get to the final stage of Non-Figurativity, Joy has been reduced down to a yellow star shape (with a small brown point representing her bag), Sadness a blue teardrop shape, and Bing Bong a pink trunk-like shape standing on end. It's funny how you can still retain the cores of the characters using just very simple shapes and colors.
