Patreon may be going the way of the Dodo

We've been notified that our open source project is against the Patreon's Community Guidelines. I'm not sure why, as we've reviewed them thoroughly and neither is our lawyer. I expect more communication in the next few days from someone higher up and will provide updates as time permits.

You can now claim your rewards for supporting us on our Patreon campaign. This was the final month to claim an ad free experience, so hopefully everything went smoothly for you. If not, feel free to contact us and we will try to make it right or at least figure out what went wrong.

Worst case scenario, you will have to be a regular contributor to the site to gain this now coveted perk.

I have decided that this will be the final month to be able to get your account advertisement free through Patreon. To get this as an option in the future, you'll be required to participate on the website and contribute to the community.  I feel that, having put months of though into it, having users contribute and being rewarded for contributing can only lead to a positive environment and experience.

Minor (Major?) upgrades

I've been working on the site code to benefit Patreon users a bit, and have decided to try my hand at writing up some code to allow anyone who has contributed to the project at least $10 USD in the lifetime of the project, to no longer see advertisements. The code is currently live, and we are still testing for bugs. For those of you who have already claimed your rewards, just wait until the next period and you can reclaim and have your account upgraded.

I want to send a thank you to everyone who took the time to read through the Patreon listing and especially to those of you who have supported the project. Due to a bug that I wasn't able to figure out until just recently, I request that everyone who has contributed to the project to claim their rewards once more, even if you have already.

I know it is a massive pain in the ass, but it will be the only way we can actually supply the tier rewards efficiently. Hopefully the bug was squashed ...

Once the payment clears Patreon, I will be implementing the awards for users over the course of this month. It should be finished near immediately.
