Do you think you could invest a different time of the year and not have to bump a movie or two during October? What's next for Addie and Camilla to react to? I second the recommendation of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000). I rewatched it recently, and it lived up to my remembrance of it. This may be a trite phrase, but I feel like they don't make movies like that anymore. I'm not so much referring to the action sequences but the calm and measured story-telling in between. Modern movies often feel so hectic. There is a feeling of zen to this movie that I had forgotten about. On the topic of Chinese cinema, I can also recommend the following two movies, both directed by Zhang Yimou: • Hero (2002) • House Of Flying Daggers (2004)
