Ever since the mid 1960's I've always approached any movie as: 'An adventure into a new world!' Escapism lol And this totally holds true to at least the early 90's.

The reaction channel, CineBinge has a video compilation of reactors reacting to mean comments. Would you do a video clip for them if they asked? With the year more than half over, does Chernobyl still rank high as a favorite series? Take care of yourself!!

If I had to pick I'd say I think my own favorite ones on it are The Exorcist, The Omen, 28 Days Later, American Werewolf in London, and Misery. A few other Halloween season suggestions might be: - Tucker and Dale vs. Evil (I highly, HIGHLY recommend this one for a poll, it's fantastic and very funny, even adorable at times!) - Get Out - either Hereditary or Midsommar - Drag Me to Hell - The Ring - A Quiet Place - From Dusk to Dawn (which would fit her Tarantino binge) - A Nightmare on Elm Street

2024-08-12 00:44:40 +0000 UTCOctober is indeed the one month of the year she's willing to subject herself to scary movies... though she usually only ends up watching about 2 bona fide horror films a year ("The Shining" and "Alien" 2 years ago, and "Halloween" and "The Thing" last year); the rest tend to be merely suspenseful movies and lighter Halloween-y titles. Because of this, I prefer to see her watch more genuinely time-tested classics of the genre, as I listed a couple comments above this one... ☝️
