2025-12-03 22:18:55 +0000 UTCHaha seems like you didn't notice what the bubbles were for. You notice the bubbles that a lot of the fishmen wrap round their waists? That gives them bouyancy and so they can 'swim' through the air. It's why all the princes fell when their bubbles were destroyed. All the fish and fishmen you've seen 'flying' this arc have had a bubble on them. Technically, I don't see why it wouldn't work on a human, but I imagine that without something like a fish tail they wouldn't be able to move around properly, I reckon that's why we've not seen any fishmen without tails (i.e. like Jimbei with normal legs) using one either.

2025-12-03 22:17:33 +0000 UTCEven 2 years ago Jimbei made very short work of Moria who was making the whole strawhat crew and luffy struggle by himself. And he likely would have been a very bad matchup against crocodile also. Also, logia is likely not a problem because it was mentioned that he had faught Ace to a stalemate and Ace was a fire logia. So his attacks may not seem very impressive, but he has already shown that he is overall a very impressive fighter that was stronger than a number of the other warlords. The only person we have seen him struggle against so far is Akainu (and just now briefly against Luffy, but so did Luffy). And even after Akainy blew a hole in him, he recovered quickly enough to subdue Luffy easily when Luffy woke up after Marineford (and in terms of injuries, Luffy was a little less injured). So he's not very flashy, but he's definitely not weak. Ps. Hordy's water attack was able to punch through mountains and travel halfway across the island after he took so many steroids, and Jimbei was able to match it with his own water-drop attack without any steroids
