Garou is definitely the most interesting character in the show, his ideology and behavioral patterns are fascinating :) as we know with Saitama his biggest issues come from normal life thats whats hilarious he doesnt struggle with other shit xD what a big brain move he pulled at the restaurant :D the kid is a big fan of heroes, he carries the hero almanac with him all the time, Garou used that to learn more about the heroes he fought :) that sliding scene immediately became a huge meme xD but ye that moment kinda sums up what the real issue with this season is, and thats editing, firstly that scene doesnt have to be there, no need to show it, now if they are adamant that it must be there then you gotta think about how to sell it, one thing that would help is adding bits of dust as he is going down to make it more dynamic and hide the imperfections, plus make him go down faster cause here it was a bit choppy, another option is to put focus on Garou and his action because the way they did it here is bizarre, he is in the background, really small and out of focus, sliding down the hill holding a pose to look cool, so you dont even want him to be animated he has to be stoic, but that whole combination then looks weird, so its overall a very tricky shot to sell, you can put focus on him, zoom in on him as he is sliding, first from the front, then you switch to his back, make it look cool, otherwise I would just not do it at all because its quite inconvenient, this is mostly the director's fault not the animators :) this season overall struggles to hide the bad animation which is normal in all anime, but other anime, especially modern, figured out ways how to cheat and not make it as obvious that its badly animated, like utilizing CGI, using zoom ins, cutting at certain points, changing perspective, thats what this season is lacking and what truly bothers people :) cause if we are talking animation then people would be bothered all the time whole watching anime cause its got shit animation :D Ufotable who do Demon Slayer are very good at bullshitting the audience and making things seem different to what they truly are, its like a magic trick, distract them and make them believe you are doing more than you truly are, some have mastered it more than others :) Garou and the kid are a sweet duo :) Saitama once again clueless xD so it is now confirmed that Gyoro-Gyoro is the real mastermind behind everything, King Orochi is not the main boss, he is the mascot you could say :) ye the stillness is definitely visible in this season and thats again down to editing, other shows would switch frames faster, change camera angles, add some little shakes and stuff so that it doesnt look so stale, thats what they are lacking

Regarding episode 2 I think that it’s alright since even though we get that horrible slide we got some good animation at the end of the episode (although short).
