2022-06-05 14:58:54 +0000 UTCOne minor bit of clarification: Robert Englund played Old Victor Creel in the asylum. The young Victor Creel (in the flashbacks) was played by Kevin Johnson. It was probably obvious which you were talking about, but I'm annoyingly pedantic like that :p I love this episode so much! Sadie Sink is amazing. Kate Bush is amazing. Everything about this show is amazing!

I'm also not sure what the deal is with Hopper's foot. I mean, he's not walking around like someone who just has his ankle crushed which is what I assume he had his fellow prisoner do so he could slip his manacle. I mean...I sprained my foot so bad once the doctor said it would have been easier if I had just broken it, and I was on crutches for a good two months and a cane for six. I don't know...maybe I'm a wuss? Maybe the cold Russian air helped numb the pain? I don't know... Two fun facts: 1. Robert Englund (the man who played Freddie Kruger) was Victor Creel. I didn't recognize him at first until I saw his name in the credits. 2. The song that saves Max is "Running Up That Hill" by Kate Bush, and has enjoyed a huge surge in popularity and streaming since this episode came out. I'm glad you're sticking with it.
