Do a re-read, Darren. When she's feeling comfortable in a relationship, Joyce has always been capable of being confident and even dominant. She was bossing Sarah around very quickly. She was always in the lead with Joe. She has never had any hesitation in being snarky and very sibling-esque with Walky. She punched out toe-dad without hesitation. Joyce is a force of nature.

This sudden change of Joyce’s characterization to confident, almost dominant, and leading Dorothy feels jarring and unearned to me. Am I missing something?

"Not just for WOMEN but for YOU-WOMAN!" Is A+ wording.
