There's a good theory that the reason Blackbeard can take hits unlike other logias is because he is constantly exposed to light, and he would operate like a normal logia under complete darkness. Just how Luffy's rubber is able to touch Enel, light is constantly hitting Blackbeard. Though I'm sure there's more to his devil fruit because Blackbeard is set up to be the greatest antagonist in one piece. He may be weak and cowardly in some situations so a lot of fans brush him off or forget that he is a serious threat (even tho Shanks keeps warning us of Blackbeard). So mark my words Blackbeard will somehow become one of or the strongest character in the series, you will see that he is probably the second most mysterious one piece character. He is easily my favorite character along with Luffy

2025-05-15 18:47:26 +0000 UTCI'm pretty sure those weren't sea prism nets unless they did specify it earlier and I don't remember. Sea prism materials are really expensive and hard to make. They're mostly used for large stuff like the Navy ships. They were probably just normal nets but its not like all those prisoners had devil fruits anyways
