So yeah; if it wasn't obvious by now; Oda is a really big fan of drag queens lol. An that goes doubly so for Ivankov; in addition to the Rocky Horror inspiration I mentioned last time, Ivan is based on a real life okama that Oda is freinds with named Norio Imamura, someone who Oda once described as "having a head like a boulder", which explains why Ivankov has the absolute giant face that he has. Additionally to that, not only was Oda close enough freinds with him to base a character on this guy, he even personally invited him to Voice Act for him too. So yes, Ivans voice that your hearing now is in fact the voice of the guy that inspired the characters creation in the first place. (Which actually marks the second time in the show that Oda's created a character specifically to be voiced by a specific person XD)
