Okay so this right here. This is why I don’t think Joyce will take Joe up on his offer, or if she does it just won’t work out. Cause the feelings Joyce has for Dorothy very clearly vastly eclipse whatever she feels for Joe. I mean with him when it comes to sex she’s nervous, yet with Dorothy she just flat out says “Guess you’re gonna have to fuck it out of me.” in this page. Like she is NOT that sexually confident with Joe AT ALL. Plus if you look at when she was thinking about what she would say to him in breaking up, she brought up how she likes who SHE is when she’s with him. And how he makes HER feel important. So the top two things she could think of that made her sad about the break up were things Joe made her feel about herself. Nothing that she liked about HIM.
