Just catching up with the reactions, but yeah I really like the mystery of the Tequila Bridge too. Even now we still aren't sure about it's true purpose! Thats why One Piece is so cool. There are always new mysteries.

We don't really know for sure, but I believe that the main purpose of the bridge was to punish/enslave people. Whatever it links together is perhaps secondary to the cruelty. That little girl is there because she was born there and inherited this fate.

2025-03-26 07:40:06 +0000 UTCNot even 60 seconds in and you're already digging on Usopp XD You know; it didn't hit me until literally watching this reaction; Tequila Wolf is similar to the convict history of Australia; start with "criminals" being sent over to a "country", the prisoners have lives and families, and then children are literally born into prison camps. You're almost right in the timeline; the 20 Kings that started the World Government appeared 800 years ago. Robins also talked about a "Missing Century" of history, and that was the 100 years before the World Government appeared. Uhhh... I'd hold off on saying that "we've already been to hell and back", there's still a *lot* more of the story to go for you to say that lol
