Autumn on St. Andrew's Cross

Yesterday we tested out the St. Andrew's Cross which we will use as a part of the Kink series for Gallery 42. I worked most of last week making it, but it will need a few tweeks to make it totally workable. Autumn was a willing subject, as I tried different outfits in various stages of undress, ending with a nude set.

Eclipse of the Sun

Had a great time today using my 70-200mm Telephoto lens. I was surprised at how long it took to reach totality, but once there it was spectacular. In the first image you can see a sun spot and the second one you can cleaarly see solar eruptions.

Noelia in the Shower

Kia Boudoir

I setup my inflatable bed for this shoot with Kia. When I am working with a model for the first time I always request that someone accompanies them, it helps to make them feel comfortable. I also talk to the model about boundries, as I don't want to suggest poses that make her feel uncomfortable. In some cases I am not sure how much skin a model wants to show until we get well into the shoot. Kia was unsure about posing topless but her friend encouraged her and as you can see the results were awesome.

Abigail for Suicide Girls

Last year Abigail asked me if I would do a Suicide Girls shoot so she could submit for their cover issue. Wardrobe was her choice and I helped with posing ideas. Unfortunately she didn't make the cover, but we got some pretty good shots!

Starla at Eagle Creek State Park

When I became serious about shooting models I worked weekly with Starla. I have a lot of content from the two years that we worked together. At some point Starla decided not to continue because her family and friends were against her modeling.

Abigail in the Shower

I will be setting up the back porch shower soon. This set is from last summer, hopefully I can get Abigail back in the studio soon.

Ella in Studio

Another studio set from 2019 with Ella. I was experimenting with some differrent light setups, and wardrobe options.

Kink Test

Over the past few months I have developed a relationship with the owner of Gallery 42 here in Indianapolis. He is setting up a Kink display in the basement of the gallery. Far from completed, when finished it will be a unique addition to the Indianapolis Kink scene. When completed Autumn will pose, and our goal will be to create poster size images. Is there such a thing as Classy Kink? I think so, and that will be our goal. In the meantime I was concerned about lighting in the space, so we spent yesterday afternoon testing it out. The sculptures and painting in this set were created by a Florida artist. The sculptures are made from silver spoons.

Autumn in Frame

The idea here was to frame body parts in an interesting and seductive manner. I bought the frame at Goodwill Thrift Store. Autumn took it from there!

Update to Collections

Sorry I haven't been posting this week, but I have been working on putting previous posts into Collections. Most posts are sorted by model, with a couple of categories. This will also help me not to duplicate posts. As I add content I will designate a Collection to help you search fr your favorites.

Flowers and Body Paint

Occasionally a model will ask me to do a concept that she has planned. Here Olivia asked me to do a simple body paint application that she combined with flowers. I used a two light set up and we tried to get some creative poses.

Autumn in the Spotlight

We got together last week and worked with my new spotlight. It took me awhile to figure out how to make it work the way I wanted, but i think quite a few of these are pretty cool. Not sure where to go with creativity using this light, but will work on it.

Alexis with Tulle and Gels

I haven't worked with Alexis in a while now. Pretty sure she has a boyfriend, keeping her occupied. This shoot was in the basement studio, using Tulle material and Gel (colored) lighting.

Aubrey Water Reflection

Last summer I worked with Aubrey several times, and this set on the back porch shower is pretty hot.  Hopefully I can connect with Aubrey agin this summer.  I should have the shower setup again here in another month. 

Bethany Studio with Gold Foil

Some fashion shots and then a gold foil set, from 2020 when my studio was in the basement.  Bethany is one of the taller models that I have worked with, I believe she is 5' 11".  Most of the girls I works with are 5' 8'" or shorter.  Anyway this was a fun shoot.    

Starla Street Photography

I actually love doing this kind of shoot, using available light and walking the streets. These photos are from 2018 and 2019 in Broad Ripple.   Starla managed to attract quite a bit of attention, and she rolled with it!

Starla in Studio

A little more about Starla and how she helped get my photography off to a solid start.  For a couple of years we would go monthly to a local studio that held open an house for models and photographers.  I didn't have strobe lights at the time so it helped me learn some lighting techniques and also work with other models in addition to Starla.  This set is from 2018 and Starla had just gotten a pair of tights from Carbon 38.  Starla is still a good friend, she helped my wife during her illness, and she now helps me out with house cleaning and dog sitting!  Enjoy!!

Carlina Gold Tape

Another set with Carlina in studio.  We did some gold tape and then the Angel wings.  Love how thesee turned out, and Carlina is a beauty.  I only worked with her twice.  The gold vinyl I use is thte asme material that is used to letter vehicles and signs.  I breiefly worked for a sign shop and learned how to cut and apply this material.  Takes a certain amount of trust on the part of the model, but the results are stunning.  This set was done in 2121

Candle Wax and Body Paint with Lilli

I wish I had kept in contact with Lilli, we did some super sexy shoots, and she was open to pretty much anything.  In this set I dripped candle was all over her body and then did an acylic body paint.  

Ashley Body Paint

My mother-in-law left me a stash of acrylic paint and brushes, so I tried a body paint shoot with Ashley.  Acrylic is great becasue it washes right off.  

Sunrise with Rose

I live close to the White River here in Indianapolis, so there are several great shoot locations nearby and this is one of my favorites.  It is a public park, but at 7:00 am there is little to no traffic.  From 2022 when Rose was wanting to model.  Unfortunately she is off doing other things.  

Autumn Bares all in Antigua

This is a repost, but I've added a dozen edits to complete the set.  It rained every morning in Antigua, so Autumn said "let's shoot on the porch".  We were given an upgraded suite which included this incredible view of the bay.

I am grateful to have had the energy to do this shoot after a long weekend in Chicago.  I would like to have done one more set at this location, but am super happy with how these turned out.  Here I used one background red gel strobe and one fill light in front.  My experience with Autumn is to give her general guidelines and then let her do her magic.  She never disappoints

Autumn's Wedding Dress

Believe it or not a photo shoot without nudes!!  Actually I have quite a few fashion sets with Autumn.  We met back in 2020, and did our first shoot in June of 2020.  The wedding dress was leant to us by a local designer.
