You wanna start watching after the credits, if you're not already doing so because there's going to be post credit scenes. Idk which episodes, but it's frequent enough to get in the habit of doing. Now, about the episode itself! Deku and Kacchan had a bit of a friendlier competitive rivalry as kids before quirks were involved, I'd like to think. But then things changed when Kacchan's quirk manifested. The main issue is that he was praised and glazed so much AS A KINDERGARTEN STUDENT, that they fed his ego too much way too early. But the other issue was that Deku DIDN'T manifest a quirk. Because before this, the rivalry between Deku and Kacchan was definitely more on equal footing and healthier. This is just my interpretation of the scene, so take with a bit of salt, but I got the impression that Kacchan was also devastated or upset that Deku didn't manifest a quirk, because even though there's a smile on his face, he doesn't really look or FEEL happy to me. In fact, I think he was looking forward to competing against him as they grew up more before this event and was disappointed he wouldn't have anybody to compete with as they grew up. That's all just my personal interpretation of the scene, though. But this episode showcases both Deku and Kacchan's intelligence when it comes to a fight. Deku is more strategy oriented and less combat reliant, while Katsuki does the opposite. But also, Deku has a handicap of not knowing how to use his quirk and not being able to use it freely while Katsuki has the fundamentals of his quirk down to being natural instinct and integrates it creatively in his fighting style. And a little thing to know about him is that his first name, Katsuki, uses the word "Katsu" which means "to win" in Japanese. Oh and his birthday is 4/20!

Hey Lucky can you go back to making background/intros based on current seasons like you used to do for Naruto/shippuden. You probably didnt watch it but the intro is far into the show and I enjoyed the different intros/background images during your reaction based on the episode/season you're on. If it's too much work for editors or you have to hire more people then ignore the comment.

You don’t get it Lucky. Bakugo has the saddest backstory in all anime. Way more sad than Itachi or Nico Robin. He fell in a river and Midoriya had the fucking nerve to help him back up. TRAGIC.

Call me crazy but rewatching this episode now I start to see parallel between Izuku, Bakugo flashback and Bazz-B Haschwalth flashback. The hot headed guy with talent and powers and a guy with no powers. In the end the loser gets acknowledged. Recency probably contributed to me thinking that.
