So... remember last ep when you said "Sanji is chivalrous; he's not a perv like Brook"? Honestly at this point; I think Brook is better; he at asks the women he likes if they'd let him do perverted things. XD Though real talk; removing as much of my personal opinions of the later arcs as I can; this Sanji fight is probably one of the weakest written fights in the series. It's just so.... stupid. Oda's obviously always had goofiness written into his fights, but this one is just on a whole other level, especially in regards to the anime just turning everything up to 11.

He remembered Usopp saying that he turned Nami invisible and they weren't able to follow them, so he know that if he let him even touch Nami she would suddenly turn invisible and he would likely be able to run away with Nami without Sanji having any idea where they were. So strategically, keeping Nami away from him until you can figure out an attack is probably the smarter choice if you don't want to risk losing Nami
