So: finally finished the reaction lol. Just to add on to what you were saying at the end; the film itself doesn’t go into too much detail about this, and needed external writing by the mangaka to truly flesh it out; but youre not quite right about the idea that the previous Wizard Kings. The reason all of them are seen as “traitors and tyrants” is because they were going against the one group that mattered; the royals and nobles. For the three others that Conrad brought back: each of them was betrayed and manipulated by the nobles because they tried to put the betterment of the commoners first, and each of them also ended up getting killed because of that betrayal. (In an ironic twist this probably means any Wizard King that would be considered a “hero” by history would probably be the actual dictators these ones are accused of being) Basically, the same thing that happened to Zoras father happened to them. The difference is that because no-one is strong enough to outright kill the Wizard Kings: the nobles of old had to resort to even more underhanded tactics to cause them to snap. Thats why the lot of them are so keen on the Kingdom being eradicated in the name: they genuinely cannot believe anything more then the complete extermination of those that aren’t entirely selfless is going to result in a just world, and that the only reason you would be against it is because you are one of those benefiting from the injustice. The reason it took until Julius for things to change is that Julius is the first Wizard King to be…. ‘Smart’ is the wrong word, but ‘politically minded’ is the key. The previous ones thought that people would just follow their orders because of their strength; Julius is really the first that has figured out the balance of how to make change on the small scale so that the ones most averse to that change don’t even realise its happening until its too late. Loved to see your reaction my dude; some people have theorised that this film was a way to test the waters to see if people wanted more Black Clover, and the result has been a resounding ‘yes’, so heres hoping we here more about a continuation soon~ Looking forward see what options end up on the poll for the replacement 😊

I believe some extra information was released after this movie regarding backstories on the 4wizard kings so we can understand them more definitely worth the read Also I love the fact that they kept the wizard kings on top they never lost, absolute powerhouses. Also just so u know barrier magic dude became a king so our boy Bah Ha has the potential to rise. Also can we rewatch this again next week in sub I can’t get enough of it so fucking good

Even Julius was weighing his options once when he heard Zara was betrayed and got killed. He looked disgusted at royals in that scene of contemplation.

PUELLA MAGI MADOKA MAGIKA!! PUELLA MAGI MADOKA MAGIKA!! Aside from that; I'll also repeat the same suggestions from last time; since this will be for the "high-episode count" animes; Fairy Tail or Inuyasha I think would make great alternatives to Black Clover. Will give comments on the actual movie when I'm free :)

So glad you enjoyed black clover, i know it isn't the best anime but i love it a lot and i'm happy you got to experience it too. Next i'd like you to watch ( if you want ) full metal alchemist, my hero academya or invincible ( even thought the last one isn't an anime, i'm sure you'll enjoy it )
