AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER EPISODE 61 REACTION!!!

Comments

1 episode: The boy in the Iceberg Last episode: Avatar Aang Incredible show.

Yeah I view it like I do with DBS & Boruto, a decent continuation but an unnecessary one to a series that already ended well. If we got the comic books animated instead it would've been much better.

LazySugarLover

I like how book 1 was more adventurous. Aang never went into the spirit world in book 2 and 3. We saw how Koh and freaky stuff like those more in book 1 than other books where it was more about politics.

g27

Only Book 1 is really more for children, in terms of tone and goofiness, but the rest of the show is too deep, mature and subtle for children to appreciate it fully, though they can still fully enjoy it regardless

Krowft

Zuko got a scar on his front because he tried to face his responsibilities when he stood up for the cannon fodder in the meeting. Aang got it on his back because he tried to run away from his responsibilities when he got frozen.

g27

PLEASE, DEAR GOD YALL HAVE GOT TO STOP CALLING IT A SEQUEL LOL

Andrew G

korra is decent, and it probably wouldn't be as hated if it didn't have to succeed this masterpiece, but there are a lot of very fair criticisms about it. either way, you should give it a go and see if you like it

Eden

Obviously you will check it out for yourself but ofc I personally, and with most people, think ATLA is better than Korra but I also did really enjoy Korra and watched the whole thing

What a journey, one of my favorite shows of all time!

Here's a really amazing detail: Aang gets a lightning scar on his back from Azula, Zuko gets a lightning scar on his chest from Azula. Avatar is a truly magical series and one of my favorites. Before Bleach or One Piece or Naruto or Dragon Ball I was a huge fan of Avatar. I'm happy you enjoyed it a lot, too. It shaped a lot of my personal philosophy and views on storytelling and the world.

Loved the reactions man. This is my favorite show of all time. As far as Korra goes, people just don't like it because it's not based around the characters from this show, and thats what people wanted at the time. More time with Aang and everyone. But the show is actually good in its own right. Just dont expect it to be the exact same thing as ATLA. Hope you'll have an open mind when watching!

TRUE

The next SHOW, not season, is called “The Legend of Korra”, because it’s about the avatar after Aang called Korra. Meaning Aang is not in that show. It does NOT have the same writers as ATLA. It’s not about Zuko, it’s not about anyone in ATLA, it’s about Korra.

Cripes; that shot of Aang with the elemental rings is iconic. Now; As you kinda pointed out, there was a few... surprises, for lack of a better term that happened here~ You seem to be okay with the Energy Bending reveal (yes, it is "Energy Bending" and not "Spirit Bending"; trust me it is an important distinction lol) but I'll explain the other as best as I can without spoiling anything that you may get to in the future. (Side note; I *am* going to be dropping out for Korra. If you like it; more power to you my dude, but I'm not subjecting myself to that again XD) For how he got the Avatar State back; I'm going to use a Naruto Metaphor. If you imagine that the Avatar State is like opening the Eight Inner Gates; then when Aang died the first time; all the gates were sealed shut. (It's why death in the Avatar State is so disastrous; dying shuts off the chakras in the body permanently, so much so that even in the next life, they wouldn't be able to open again.) But during the battle; getting hit with that much force at that same spot placed Aang in so much pain that the gates were *forced* open. It's basically a bursting dam; that first time was not Aang entering the Avatar State; that was a veritable torrent of previous Avatar Spirits pouring out of Aangs body after being sealed away. Honestly, Aang got super lucky that he managed to regain control back. Regardless my dude; been a great ride! See you in other videos/the next poll <3

The sequel has different writers and is an entirely new plot that only has some connections to this one.

Thank you lucky for this journey and also Florick if you're here big thank you because I didn't understand this show when I was a kid. it's one of the best, I really dislike nothing about it and it always made me look forward to Mondays just for these two episodes. Your input on this show was also exceptional Lucky, Imma watch all these again in a year or two hopefully. It's crazy that I am grown ass man now and sad about a "children's show" ending lmao.

God I love me some Lucky reactions. Especially to one of my personal favorite shows too
