Insanely intense week - we moved into a new apartment, then I had to tidy up our old place, and now I'm realizing that I'm missing out on a full week of actual work. But these little sketches were a real treat (as well as a buuunch of other that I won't be showing yet), and a daily way to take my mind off things and actually relax.

Big part of my comics process - especially if it's a really big book that requires a lot of commitment - is drawing these character expression sketches, sometimes laying the foundation for some actual big character moments in the future comic. I'm figuring out my projects for 2024, and so far, it actually looks better than 2022 or 2023 did, at least in the beginning of each year! It's good to have at least some amount of expectation and prospects - along with approaching renewal of our residency permit for one more year in Serbia, and (hopefully) some modest travel plans, it brings a modicum of optimist to our life.
