2024-09-17 15:43:14 +0000 UTCI actually thought your list was backward 😂 Mine would have to be worst -> best as: 1 - 6 - 9 - 2 - 8 - 3 - 7 - 4 - 10 - 5 I like a lot of moments more than some of these and also like some events after for example, I like the events after 8 more than 8 itself and it would be higher you know stuff like that but I guess we both appreciate different things about the show more and that's cool cuz there's so much to value

And to do some fan service too. I don't think that is the only reason but he started drawing females more curvy especially Nami

If he doesn't write the concept perfectly, the moment will have no impact. But a lot of people who read or watched the moment felt the sorrow. Feeling so strongly and crying about a boat gives this moment a high place in fandom. When recalling past moments especially.

But your own rating would likely have been very different so if only you took the poll it would not be top 3. And no, it doesn't mean that other scenes are not as good, it simply means that (for the majority) the Merry farewell scene was simply too good for them to put it less, but I can tell you right now in my estimation there are plenty of scenes of the same or higher caliber, where they rate however is entirely up to the individual.

So honestly I can't really say I have any idea outside the public sphere as to what's going to hit him. Silence and Cooking are the only other main character moments that come to mind as being universally tragic.

I know I said I wasn't shocked at your reaction, but I never thought I implied your reaction was a bad thing. (Heck; I'm one of current One Piece's largest critics lol. I'd be *way* to hypocritical if I said it as a bad thing if someone didn't a scene XD) Regarding Chopper; he's not stupid, he just naive. He takes things at face value; so he looks and goes "This guy wears a mask: Usopp doesn't wear a mask. And he told me his name isn't Usopp; so he can't be Usopp!" Ironically if anything; this actually might make him a better doctor; since he takes things at face value instead of needlessly looking deeper or letting his assumptions take hold, but I can't say for certain. Oh and; just wait 1 more episode to 314. You might change your tone about people killing your editor. (At least for this. People will probably want to kill him for other reasons XD)

2024-09-17 04:40:10 +0000 UTCYour take on the merry scene was valid and I reacted the same way personally, I didn't feel as strong of a connection to the ship but ay I can respect it you know. For me it's definitely not top 10 moments maybe not even top 20, there are so many more hype and emotional moments that beat this for me. I watch the weekly episodes and from the last 10 episodes back from freaking episode 1119 there have been like at least 3 moments I think even top this peak in lore and hype and emotion. (I picked up the show because of you since you started it so thanks for that lucky, I had a lot more time to binge a year ago so I used my free time well to get caught up 😂) I actually liked all 9 moments on the top 10 poll better than #1 but hey at the end of the day, it's just a poll, and definitely don't make it let you think it doesn't get better, because it does! Enies lobby and Robin are my personal favorites still because I'm biased as hell since it was the first arc in this show to make me cry but there is so much more peak to be had, so stay hyped!!
