The title of the episode is "Winter Solstice", and the winter solstice always happens about 3/4 of the way into the first month of winter. Roku said that Sozins Comet is going to come back at the end of the summer; meaning Aang has just over 8 months to not only learn, but master all 3 remaining elements.
