Let’s watch him try to search for the answers from the episodes themselves. Because we know some things will remain unexplained, like Zuko’s mother. I bet he’ll be in the last episode like, “This can’t be it, where’s the rest of it”😂 I didn’t watch One Piece but from the comments I’m seeing is that some people were unhappy by the explanations that were taught to Lucky about the show instead of Lucky trying to understand the show solely from the episodes (I don’t know, maybe the episodes don’t suffice and the Manga or other sources are needed for everyone, haven’t watched One Peice), but it’ll make it fun for him to try and take into account what’s said between the characters instead of him already knowing before watching the part that explains it in the show. By getting to know more characters throughout the episodes, he’ll get an idea of how much there are non-benders compared to benders, and everything that goes along with it. It’ll be hell of a ride😂

2024-03-26 05:36:37 +0000 UTCSo just *quick* rundown on the basics of bending that are only slightly tocuhed on. Firstly, bending is in fact a genetic trait in this universe. And in the same way that people from Japan look Japanese or people from Greece look Greek; the culture and locations in the Avatar world are people with similar genetics and powers. (Frequency wise; it's about 30-50% of the population that are benders. So it's not rare by any means, but it is still more likely to not be a bender.) Secondly; because bending is genetic, you're either born with the ability to bend exactly one element; (earth, water, fire, air) or you aren't. You can't learn how to bend if you aren't born with that ability, and if you can bend one element, you can't learn to bend another. The only exception to this rule is the Avatar; because as a reincarnation; that is based on the spirit; not genetics.

This is much of a more relaxed and laid back type of show in the beginning, so enjoy it, it's not like death note were you need to take an advanced calculus course to figure out what's going on😂 The comedy continues throughout the entire series. Nickelodeon created this show, which is odd compared to what Nickelodeon is today. It's a kid's show, that's why it’s much more simple compared to AOT for example.

It deals with lots of dark real world topics, but also keeps the show fun and theres so many cool moments and interesting lore to be found. The characters are all very well written too. I cant wait for more reactions, i'm sure you'll like it Lucky.
