2024-02-20 21:21:55 +0000 UTCNow, about story stuff, there is some context given in the manga that anime leaves out and will leave out in the future, like how Jogo can casually beat Naobito despite being stated to be slower; in the manga, the narrator implies that Naobito got significantly slower, due to losing his arm. Also, the reason why Toji greatly outperforms Maki with the cursed tool is because Hidden Cloud is stated to scale off the user.

2024-02-20 19:44:42 +0000 UTCAs to why Crunchyroll continues to put out the version only meant for TV broadcast in Japan despite having the undimmed and unghosted version of the episodes no one knows, however, these issues are fixed in the Blu-Ray versions of the show which is why some people might've tried to get you to look into the blue ray release of early season 2 being hidden inventory if you ever plan to revisit the series on your own time I recommend looking into it as overall it's a better experience.

First about the episode going dark as you kept pointing out that something done in anime called dimming TV regulations are strict in Japan after a Pokemon episode caused a bunch of people to have seizures in Japan due to flashing lights this is also resulted into a method called ghosting where semi-transparent frames are layered over top of animation making it sometimes really hard to tell what's going on some times. JJK has seen a lot of it this season due to a switch in the time it airs meaning there are more regulations on episodes.
