Imagine if criminal charges had been pressed over the drugs and Sarah HADN’T reported it. Do you think Sarah wouldn’t end up, in the best-case scenario, unable to go to school basically anywhere?? If Raidah had the actual maturity she believes she has, perhaps she would consider that Sarah did not get Dana expelled - Sarah got Dana's dad to be more a more active support. I'm sure Dana could return to IU whenever she feels ready. Also: wondering if she and Carl are still dating long distance. He doesn't say ex.

B) Dana was doing drugs IN THE DORM ROOM which could get both her and Sarah expelled (because Sarah can be held responsible for not reporting it). C) Sarah was afraid Dana was going to DIE. Whether that means she thinks Dana did more than weed or she was afraid Dana was going to kill herself, either of which is big concern. And what else should she have done, given Dana was getting worse and worse? - School therapists can be helpful, but Sarah cannot COMPEL Dana to go. - Reporting her state to the school likely could have resulted in them finding out about the drugs and kicking her out. - None of YOU believed her that Dana was spiralling and weren't willing to help. - The grace of a professor can only go so far
