Update on the Halloween comic - resumed progress!

Hiyaa sorry I've been kind of quiet since my last post. After I hurt my back, I had to catch a flight to Hong Kong for a family reunion and have been trying to settle and reconnect with my extended family ever since (and we've got a biiiig family). It was rough but thankfully my own fam took it easy on me and had me on bedrest for the most part. I also got to visit China for the first time (and caught a nasty cold there too yikes) and didn't really get work on anything worthwhile either because I've been constantly surrounded by family members. I've been slowly trying to get in a sketch or two but would always get interrupted. Now that we've greeted most of my relatives by now, I should finally be able to get some alone time to work. Fingers crossed! 🤞

I've missed drawing KRBK so much u guys ;; this comic is weeeelll over due. I don't really want to spoil too much but perhaps if you zoomed in the pic, you might know what's to come 😏

KRBK Halloween comic delayed 😔

I'm so sorry you guys, the comic won't be uploaded by Halloween because I just had to go and get a herniated disc while I was cleaning today 🙃 I can't sit for long because of this so my effective work time has been cut by half.

Good news is this comic is gonna be at least 20 pages! It won't be fully colored because I'm pretty much in recovery mode now so that sucks but I gotta cut my losses cuz I gotta get back to animating!

Anyways, I'll see you guys soon, when the comic is done 🫡 ETA in two weeks or so ok bye <3

here's a sneak peek on the KRBK animation!! this isn't fully fleshed out and i'm missing a few cuts but there's definitely way more where that came from - i'll try to keep you guys updated once i feel that it's good enough to show <3

unofficially, i'm going to say that this animation is going to be about 13 minutes total runtime. i'm coming up on about 90 cuts so this might take a hot second guys 🥲 bear with me plss

BK is completely and utterly unaware of this. 

and when BK finally swallows his shame and goes back to class, maybe KR corners him on their break to tell him how much of a good boy he is (of course) for coming back to class. or maybe he gives him his punishment for stepping out of line with that photo... or... both? 😈

so basically, in this AU, BK accidentally sends KR a sn4pch4t private story that was meant for his exclusive members and now he regrets living. he skips class to stream his emotions away and never see the light of day so now KR is on a mission to convince him to come back to class lol

KR is a bit OOC here (and so is BK lol),, he's just an older and more jaded version of his canon self. he's also very tired and needs a cuddle bug asap... he needs a catboy uwu... he's also a hairy dude LOL idk i feel like that's just his manly thing.

i feel like my twitter TL has been void of KRBK lately???? am i tripping?? finals was over last week and im working on the animatic right now so i can't give yall much sustenance this month but here's some sketches i've done for warmup.

KR is a 39 year old ex-military medic and BK is a 27 year old chronically online streamer/professional catboy. BK signs up for dilf!KR's first aid class and gets himself in so many spicy and up-close situations,, uwu ✨

yup definitely more than a couple weeks has passed but here it is :> there's no "happy ending" but i do have plans to add more to it to give it a satisfying end~ i'm starting to get the hang of animating now that i've been grinding but there's still a steeeeeeeep learning curve for me to tackle. hopefully my KRBK project lives up to my ambitions and expectations but putting that concern aside, i hope yall like this one!

(I'm so sorry you guyssssssss,,, april's animation is gonna be skipped because once i'm finished with this, i'm going to solely focus on the KRBK animation. before, i've been reworking and resketching the storyboard bc i was dissatisfied with the direction but now i need to set my whole badussy on it. that being said, not sure about the following monthly animations after april but we'll see how i'm faring physically + mentally; might need to draw something else to freshen my mind and diversify my artstyle. i'd like to update you guys on the KRBK animation more than anything but for now i'm going dark until this is finished. see yall in a couple weeks~<3 or soon, idk i'm unpredictable, sozz!)

important announcement: i'm running out of ideas so i'd like you guys to pick for me uwu i'm going to post a google form sometime by this weekend (this is only open to my pop tiers and above so the form will only be available here - i'll remind you guys on twitter!) and by the end of the following week, i'm gonna put all the choices into a random generator and let it pick for me. i'm not really expecting a lot of inputs so you guys can submit more than one form if you'd like. :D
