HOWEVER, EPISODE 287 IS A WHOLE OTHER STORY BABY!!! SO WE HAVE A NO CYBORG INHANCED HUMAN THAT'S STRONGER THAN CODE AND JIGEN??? AYOOOO

Oh don't get me wrong; I thought she was just 'okay 'at the start. Cool powers and design, but that was about it. It's only been in the last 5-10 chapters where the deeper parts of her character have been developed that she's skyrocketed to my number 1.

2023-10-08 02:11:09 +0000 UTCDon't blame the story or the Boruto anime blame the studio who shortened it and rushed through everything just to say they animated Sasuke Retsuden. The Sasuke Retsuden novel is a very well written story that added more lore for the Sage of Six Paths and gave more nuance to Sasuke and Sakura's relationship. When the novel was first released it sold out immediately they needed to work on a second printing right away then when the manga adapted it the first chapter had more readers than the Boruto chapter that released at the same time and continued to be at the top during its biweekly release until having a huge drop off when the last three or four chapters took a month to come out. The story is not the problem, it clearly has an audience but the anime did a terrible adaptation. I'll be the one to say it Lucky didn't let himself enjoy the arc because he was busy trying to make crude jokes every five minutes instead of appreciating the more intimate scenes and overly criticizing things like the reanimation jutsu being used or Zansul being an Uzumaki which many of us explained have different context in the novel but he kept stubbornly bringing them up same with why Sakura refuses to wear the ring.

2023-10-07 15:39:52 +0000 UTCthis arc is great but the animation studio which had a lot of problems before really started to get worse by this point. As you noticed some scenes were weirdly animated and theres loads of other issues the studio ran into, causing them to put their cash cow boruto on hiatus. Them working on bleach at the same time didnt make it any better. Even some of eps from this arc were started and finished right before the deadline and it was a huge deal. But hopefully in the end the hiatus should do the anime justice with better episodes, a proper scheduling and more manga content!

It was sooo damn goofy, esspecially the last part, that touching goodbye moment between Sus and his Dino and the final out of nowhere attack... Jeez... it was so painful to watch. It was even for this Anime way too much ass pull situations

I know she's hyped up in the fandom but I thought she was terrible in the manga but I will say the anime has endeared her much more to me where I might like her anime version as opposed to her manga version where she comes off more alien than Ishikki himself.

2023-10-06 22:49:34 +0000 UTCFor full disclosure Lucky while I appreciate we got an animated adaptation of this story it was Studio Pierrot that bungled it because the novel is a lot longer and more detailed. The real story didn't even really end there, while they obtained the ultra particles for Naruto they couldn't really use them due to their radioactive nature so they needed to be taken to a lab to be studied. All of this is in the final novel in the trilogy Naruto Retsuden where the head scientist wants the particles for himself he's trying to actually assassinate Naruto and his assistant who's been bonding with Naruto; you're boy Orochimaru gets involved and tries to kill the guy by setting him on fire but Naruto saves him by setting off the sprinklers which deteriorates the particles making them unusable much to Sasuke's anger lol. Naruto's last hope was the second set of particles that the Sage hid in an asteroid because it was said he had hidden half in that crater Sasuke and Sakura found and the other half in a literal star. I suggest you read the novel yourself to find out how Naruto is ultimately saved because it is too crazy to explain, if anything do it for your boy because he is heavily involved in the story.
