By the way both Castle & Arose you reacted to from 2 years ago are also featured off the very last tracks on this album which I can see why Eminem took it very personal after receiving the backlash adding fuel to the fire on the Chloraseptic Remix another track you might wanna check out sometime in the future since it’s really bone chilling.. 👀

Even Eminem himself stated that there’s gonna be a divided audience that’s always going off “oh we want the old Eminem back, where’s Slim Shady? Go back to the Marshall Mathers LP days” and when he tries the attempt there are those saying “oh he’s too old for this, how is he gonna evolve, etc.” sadly overall, you can never please anyone but that still doesn’t take away his legacy, talent, and ability when being a lyrical genius he was born to be in the game. He’s like a modern day William lyrical Shakespeare. 🤍

Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for taking the time to check this out :) 🙏 Also yes on this song does show Eminem’s vulnerability side which is Marshall Mathers pouring his heart out on the mic with art along being his passion project in this new era but sadly at the time, Revival did get a lot of hate from some critics/fans even Joe Budden (former Slaughterhouse group member and Shady Records) was trashing one of his tracks (Untouchable) on his podcast and so much more. Eminem did eventually made a response warning on the Chloraseptic Remix in early 2018 leading up to Kamikaze album which was his first surprise drop in late August the same year firing back at critics, backlash, industry, etc. so overall pretty much covers the situation in case you’re wondering 👌
