If you notice in the beginning when Walt was talking with those guys, the sky behind him was clear while the sky behind the guys was cloudy. I think that resembles how pure his products are compared to their cloudy impure product they're selling.

Mike was wrong about Gus just like he was wrong about Lydia planting the bug on the barrel of methylamine. It’s ironic because Mike only said it out of pride and ego too. On a guy like Walt too? Please. It wasn't the first time either. Walt mattered to Mike, he was a force to be reckoned with. Walt is the brains.
