Arnheid in her death dream seeing Thorfinn and Einar as a wolf and an elk, one animal that is a predator to the other, yet in the scene they are standing next to each other in peace is a nice touch. "This place is a pool of pain and despair. It's a forest with bloodthirsty beasts.. but there are still people that survive here".

I think the baby is Ketil's and the scene shows that it is dead. The stag and the wolf represent Einar and Thorfinn, who are still fighting for a life in this heartless world. This show is very subtle and you can interpret a lot into individual scenes, which I am always a fan of. Some shows try to explain everything to you down to the smallest detail, even though it's usually not necessary. Give people a little space to think about it for themselves.
