And the audience is supposed to think that as well. You're only supposed to find out that fact isn't true at the same time that the characters find out about it. Knowing his real name before things get clarified is understandably annoying to some people. I'm going to give you mods the benefit of the doubt in this case though; I don't think this was them being malicious. I've mentioned before that names in One Piece are a translators nightmare. There's one location that was [officially] wrritten a certain way in English for 18 years before Oda came out and said "actually guys; I intended it to be spelt like this in English the whole time." I wouldn't be surprised that since people both in and out of universe have been refering to him as Gol D. Roger for years at this point that your mods thought it was just a translation error at the start and forgot that it was actually supposed to be a twist XD

Imagine jiraiya's last name is Uzumaki and he introduced himself first time as only jiraiya Now Naruto jiraiya spent 100 episode without you knowing he is from Uzumaki clan After 200 episode it got revealed that jiraiya is Uzumaki, now you will be surprised 😮 and speculating 🤔 is jiraiya releted to Naruto cause both share Uzumaki etc many theory etc But if you would have known from beginning that jiraiya is Uzumaki then your perspective about jiraiya would have been different There is a reason why author didn't reveal such important details early on the show If your mod thinks he knows better than author oda 😂 then it's ok I am surprised instead of talking about this with your mod , you are asking me what's the problem So you constantly need extra imput from outsiders like your mod to continue doing reaction ?
