Uno vacated the title 1) because she was bored of fighting, as she'd said, and 2) because after fighting Kenny as a kid, she knew that he would EVENTUALLY become the true Kenpachi.

In Shikai (the manta ray thing), Minazuki is written with characters translating to "Flesh Drops Gorge". However, her Bankai is written with the characters for "All Things End", referencing the duality of her character andher two different personalities. One being the caring medic who can heal people using the manta rays stomach fluids, the other being the bloodthirsty criminal. Also fun fact: GoIchi and RenG's training was happening at the same time as the battle between the 2 Kenpachis. That means for 3 days straight, Uno was killing and reviving Kenny until he eventually surpassed her lol.

As a kid he beat a captain from the strongest generation, all this crazy shit he has been doing until now while he wasn't even "Base Level". Head captain took a big gamble but considering that the medics weren't of much use during the invasion and that Kenny's strength improved from below Base Mommy to above Bankai Mommy (WITHOUT SHIKAI), I think it was the correct choice to have them fight. Also the entire deal with Ichigoat's Zanpakuto is very interesting, it seems like Pineapple Head knows exactly what his soul and power is about, he understands himself and because of that he was picked by an Asauchi but there is still so much darkness surrounding Ichigoat. What is up with his father not being in the SS anymore, how did he get his hollow powers and why can he use Quincy abilities? So much that he doesn't know about himself and his soul.

It is his very own Sword he never could hear until now. Do you remember how back then Strawberry and K-Pachi had their battle and Rockstar said to Strawberry „look at his sword it’s screaming“, but K-Pachi couldn’t hear it back then. Now the sword’s voice has finally reached him. The manga and anime doesn’t tell you this so you wouldn’t know otherwise, so let me explain the black dude K-Pachi killed in that flashback scene, is the previous K-Pachi before him.
