I've been a fan of Erol Otus' work since my childhood days, and I consider it a personal achievement to be able to work with him on this!

Pre-orders for this set are now open, but the set is limited to 500 pieces.

Right - here is Boris' first attempt on the wizard! Boris - true to himself - was adding neihter a wand nor a staff but a little mirror, and I think it works incredibly well.

Anyways - I was adding a vest and a veil in the 2nd pic as this was the direction I've envisioned. Let me know what you think!

Boris Barbarians!

Our friends from Wyrmforge did acquire a full range of barbarians from Boris and they have brought them to KS! The minis also come with free rules.

The cow has been started! The plan is to make a rather basic animal and then a mountain of baggage that can be attached.

The Kobold Dungeon - Free insects for backers of the COC!

Hi everybody,

As mentioned earlier - backers of the COC that will pledge on our crowdfunding campaigns will receive free items to go with their pledges.

Right now we're running the Kobold Dungeon  campaign, and all COC backers that take part get extra insects to go with those insect loving kobolds.

The Kobold Dungeon

Hi everybody,

I just wanted to make you aware of a project that we will host in a couple of weeks.

It's called the Kobold Dungeon, as we will be having a nice batch of those little critters. And yes - they will be more on the dog than on the dragon side, and they will have pointy snouts and horns and bug friends! We will also have a couple of Heroes to pester them!

The ultimate casting nightmare

That stumpy gent has blown me and the caster out off the socks, and for very different reasons too. I can only guess, but we'll likely need 5-6 splits. This will make the mini more expensive in production, so we've got no separate raven for now. I hope you like the little lad as much as I do!

As for the next mini - I feel like we should do something completely different! A monster (possibly one that eats up more than a 1 month slot due to size), a wicked SF mini, or cool dungeon furnitu...

So - unless you fine lot feel we need something vastly different, I'd totally want this guy.

The February Miniature is here

Sorry that took a bit longer, but she's now ready (at least the front view). We will finish her in the next couple of days and post videos and such.

As for the next miniature: Clerics anyone? I really like the old-fashioned approach with kite shield, "Topf" helmet and blunt weapon + a massive religious tome on a sling over the shoulder. Male? Female? Do we want something fancy?

That lady thief

Hi everybody,

The lady thief has won with the street urchin coming up close behind. We're a democratic society and we respect the vote, but we liked the idea of the street urchin quite a bit, and he'll be released through Westfalia, and we will probably have him ready as an add-on when the fulfilment of this campaign happens

Anyways - here are some initial drawings - as usual they're ranging from 'classic stuff' to 'quite bizarre' - the choice is yours!

Another round of February voting

In the last poll we had a tie between the street urchin and the artistic lady thief. So - in the spirit of democracy - I ask you fine people to please vote again. The winner will get the usual treatment of 3 concept art pieces from Bori before getting sculpted.

We just need to fix her backside, but this is our questing magician and this is her cat.

Boris and family are on a visit to Brazil from mid January to mid February, so we might see the finished miniature a little after February 1st.

The February Miniature

So! 

I've figured out the tech part, we have some ideas for the February miniature and we want your input. First we want to finish the little RPG group that started with our 'working class hero' from the last post, and think a wizard, a thief, an elf and/or a dwarf will work best.

I'd say we start with the magic wielder and here are some options for you to consider.

Working Class Heroes!

Hi everybody,

We will kick things off in January 2023 and the theme will be OSR. 

A while ago I was asking Boris to do a random level 1 fighter with a strong old school / working class vibe, and this is the first WIP! We still need to get him a horseshoe moustache, some bits of armour and a nice round shield, but he's got a righteous beer belly already. In the future, we will invite out backers to make suggestions on what to do next. We will set a rough theme, (female Barbari...
