Levi is definitely the best when it comes to fighting skills but in a battle of wits its hard to overcome Erwin :) I thought exactly the same thing, Levi there was like, I am in hell :P

If you think about it, levi is always late. He was late here and his friends died, later he was late again against the female titan and his squad died (Petra and others). Now whether that's for the good or for the worst, levi just can't help but be late... Anyways RIP to those two of Levi's friends.
