Just imagine what would have happened to this anime if Danzo had been quietly lying in Konoha. There would be no Pain wanting to revive Madara, there would be no crazy Kabuto who reanimated Madara. Obito would start the war himself and lose it in a day, lol.

Lol yea madara did his research but not because of nagatos trauma cause he transplanted the eyes before his parents death

I hate how Hanzo’s ego got in the way of him doing his own research and actually looking into the matter with the Akatsuki. Just taking the word of a snake like Danzo.

1. During the pain arc, Nagato is said to be 35 years old and Kakashi is listed at 29 years old. So kakashi is 6 years younger to Nagato, Konan and Yahiko, as all these 3 were around the same age group. 2. Hanzo really stuck with his conviction at first and even accepted the idea of Akatsuki. Goes to show that Hanzo wasn't that bad of a guy. 3. As for Danzo, he always manages to get on my nerves. The hidden leaf and stone were supposed to make a peace treaty here, but what Danzo did, was completely underhanded. He and his men disguised as stone shinobi and attacked the villages in the hidden rain causing chaos and hatred to spread towards the stone village. He can't even accept a peace treaty it seems. 4. It was in this episode that Danzo first witnessed the Rinnegan and as such thought about it as a fearsome power. So he thought about getting rid of it ASAP bcuz he believed it to be a threat to the leaf. 5. Seemingly to get rid of the Rinnegan, Danzo lied to Hanzo and made Hanzo rethink about his conviction, about the Akatsuki and whether he should let them be or attack them. He played around with Hanzo's conviction and as a result completely manipulated him, as we already know what happened later with Yahiko and all that. 6. Much later when Nagato killed Hanzo, he didn't only stop there but also killed anyone related to Hanzo including innocent little children that had any connection to Hanzo. We saw earlier in this episode about how Yahiko especially stressed upon the fact that he was glad that kyouske (the guy who gave konan the love letter) and his men didn't kill the children and actually let them escape. Nagato believed in those ideals too back then, but once obito corrupted him after Yahiko's death, he didn't gave a damn about it and killed many innocent lives be it children or women - anyone who had any ties with Hanzo. That's just sad.

You could tell the clear difference in Obito using madara’s voice and when madara spoke himself. When Obito portrayed Madara, he always spoke in such a serious dark tone but Madara himself speaks very sarcastically and not so dark
