Wanna know why this is the greatest show ever? They subliminally told us that Phil is gay, and most likely in a gay relationship with Vito. And not just because of the coming out of the closet scene.

I saw this episode when it first aired, and when Carmela said she went to rent Cinderella Man, Tony said "It still SUCKS?"... I wonder of the studio that made that movie was involved in the show and asked for it to be changed....

Exactly I completely agree, the first few episodes were amazing, this entire seasons writing, camera look, lighting, acting is just phenomenal it feels like for me all the other seasons were just a lead up to this imo, I enjoy it the most. People on reddit just say it's slow and boring. They hate the Vito thing, and think it's dull. I'm like what?

Really? That's ridiculous. The first few episodes of this season are as good as TV gets. Out of curiosity, do they hate all of season 6 or just the first part. For me Part 1 is a 9 and Part 2 a 10. The latter literally has the best episodes of TV I've ever seen, so if they hate that, they must be totally deranged.

I just don't get the fans of Sopranos, on reddit they all circle jerk and say how horrible Season 6 is and parrot off eachother or just have geniune bad taste, well good I'm glad to be unique, and no Tony is not worse, in fact he's way better this season you guys even said it.

Vito's brother was the one that got beat in the head with the golf club by Mustang Sally. Looks like he fully recovered

One thing I liked in this one was Tony's inner conflict when he was talking to Sil about Vito; its Tony trying to change over the course of Part 1 of the season (and the new outlook on life that he talked about with Melfi). After their convo, he goes into the club and basically decides he's gonna cheat with the stripper, which is the first time he's actually cheated since the shooting. A few hints that he may not be able to change after all... And imagining Phil getting into the closet waiting for Vito is too funny. "Look boys I'm gonna hop in here and wait for him to come back. It's a metaphor!"

I thought it was funny how Tony was laughing at the situation with AJ getting fired from his job for stealing. Tony almost looked proud when AJ said the job wasn't worthwhile to begin with. I wonder if that was the mobster in him coming out lol

Vito's goofy ass, brother was the dude who gets his head busted open in season 3 by Mustang Sally. Bobby's dad kills Sally over the incident.

The writers were on point this episode.So many great lines and moments. Phil coming out the closet was genius, and his “I loved him like a brother-in-law” line was hilarious.

I believe that Eddie Falco (Carmela) was sick and lost her voice for most of the Paris shooting, her voice had to be dubbed over in scenes, only in a couple spots can you clearly tell she isn’t really talking.
