Late Night Poetry

I don’t recall the last time I wrote
It must have been months ago
Too caught up in the day to day
Too absorbed in love
Too obsessed with life
Too addicted to my phone
I know this is good for me
And it’s good for you
But why have I withdrew?
I couldn’t say why
I’m sure neither could you
Without honing in on what we love
Do we lose the gift forever?
Or with practice does it just get better?
All I know is
Without writing… I feel lesser
