Child of Darkness - Revisit

This is a first draft of the revisit i did on the story of Child of Darkness. Obvisously the first attempt was shitty xD especially the writing...so we doing it again and now i got help with ppl that actually knows how to write so... XD finger crossed

Dave:

Dave’s parents moved to Germany from Greece so they can escape the Church of the unseen and basically create a better future for little Dave who wasn't born yet. They spent some time in Germany somewhere close to a big city but still in the countryside that provided some extra cover for them. Dave was soon after born in that home and the Church sent a special force of 3 capable soldiers to take the family out because of the things his father experimented with when he was a part of the Church.

On that gruesome night his parents prayed to mother Lilith to help him and hid him in the cellar of the house to  fight the soldiers. They obviously couldn't make it alive as they were outnumbered and his mother was still weak from the childbirth. Dave was successfully hidden in that cellar and they never found him, thanks to Lilith taking pity on him. 

He grew up with an associate of his father, who taught him pretty much everything about alchemy and demonology, took care of him growing up and trained him in various martial arts. Val was basically his mother and his father and being so fluid with her gender helped him understand more about his own identity as well as the other genders. He also learnt Greek, German and English with her so he could go whenever he wanted when he grew up and never forget his ancestry.

When we became 18 he left that small cottage he used to live in for so many years after his parents died. We wanted revenge for their deaths and basically he had to do something to stop them from searching for him. The same 3 soldiers still were after him and wanted to kill him as they considered him an evil spawn. He traveled a lot in Europe and settled in Berlin around his 25s, always covering his tracks and always looking over his shoulder. The thing was, that the Church was several times TOO close to get him but for some reason he always got out of reach like he got some kind of divine help each time. It was some day of October around Halloween that he finally learned who had helped him.

Absinthia:

Absinthia was sent by their mother, Lilith, to keep an eye on some random human that needed help apparently? Abs didnt understand why they had to babysit a fucking human baby, obviously he had a babysitter already. But…being the spawn of Lilith, they had to do it. So they tried their best to keep an eye but didn’t really interfere with Val’s and Dave’s lifes. Abs was just observing from afar, partying and having a good time in the human realm. Sometimes they messed with some soldiers of the Church that came too close to finding them but nothing serious. 

It was somewhere around Dave’s teenage years that Abs actually gave a damn about him and truly observed him. They found him funny, capable, and talented. He grew up to become a really talented alchemist and well…his body was really fine as well. He was tall around 200m, maybe more, and his training made his muscles pop. When Dave was 18 and he left that small cottage, Abs followed him around whenever he went under the cover of their demon form in the night, or in plain sight in their human forms both female and male. They even had many encounters and Abs really appreciated his company, he just…got them! Even though he literally didn't know who they really were…A demon that took care of him through all his life basically.

Abs talked with their mother and informed her about his doings etc, and they finally talked about how much they actually liked him. Lilith told them that this is a really bad thing because Dave was a human but she really loved Abs as she did with all her children, and she let them know that whatever happens she will support them as best as she could. Although Abs had to actually make him fall for them, accept them for who they are and most importantly, keep him safe from the Church. If the Church of the Unseen found Dave, they would find Absinthia as well and that would end very badly for everyone involved. So Absinthia tried their best to get close to Dave and protect him but also come finally closer to him.

They chose some days before halloween and went to the bar that Dave worked at. They were determined to talk to him, be real, 1000% honest. They knew he would understand most of it as he was familiar with demonology and alchemy but there was a small part of their mind that was screaming to them that he would dismiss them and yell at them to go back to the hell pits they came from.
