GDPR and Site Updates

We take data protection seriously at RetroAchievements, and we have in place steps to improve our security, including adding https, and improving the server hashing algorithm to better store your data (see https://github.com/RetroAchievements/RAWeb/issues/99).
We don't currently gather explicit consent on RA, so please if you don't wish to be bothered, we won't bother you. Similarly if you *do* wish to be bothered, well that's odd but great.
We store only your Email Address in order to contact you and encrypted password and do not imply or associate any user accounts on RA with real people. You are as anonymous on RA as you wish to be.
@luchaos is putting in place a series of features that will allow selected developers to push site or emulator changes live, and is also restructuring the site to perform even better. We are also in talks of moving the site to a new host to squeeze even more performance out of it.
