For me this sounds a little like they went: "Oh, look what new, cool, shiny things we could give you! .... but we won't." Which is kinda understandable, but very sad. So I hope your predictions won't come true! (although I trust enough in you that I believe they just might).

2023-06-13 11:29:04 +0000 UTCWOTC put themselves in a bind by insisting on this new version still being 5e. If they make too many changes, it isn't backward compatible, if they make too few changes, what's the point? I personally wish they had just made this 6e
