Hey Chris! Great Video as always :) So i pretty much agree with you in all points you made. Losing Arcane Recovery at 1st level hurts. My suggestion would be: switch AR with Scribe Spell. So that a wizard starts with AR and gets Scribe Spell at level 2. I've NEVER seen a wizard at first level scribing a new spell in their spellbook. 50GP is a hefty investment for a first level character (and wizards have to spend 10GP again and again to revive their familiar anyways). For mutliclassing purposes i do like the idea as well, that you need at least two levels in this class to be able to scribe new spells into your spellbook. I really love the idea of Memorize Spell! Being more flexible with your preparations makes it very worthwhile to scribe all kinds of circumstential and niche-spells into your spellbook. But i hate, that it has a casting time of 1 minute... Make it 1 action please! Casting it as a ritual will be the most used way to cast it anyways. But if you are drowning, you would very gladly cast a 3rd level spell to prepare Water Breathing (assuming you have at least 2 3rd level spell slots availabel and haven't cast Water Breathing as a ritual in the last 23 hours and 59 minutes... ^^). I also really like the idea of making each spell modification increase the new modified Wizard spell level by 1..! Great fix! Getting rid of the "Ritual Option" is also a ggod thing. And i would also get rid of the "Targets Option" all to gether. I steals from the Evoker. In 2014 5E the Evocation Wizard is the only one who can throw Fireballs that do not hurt your allies. And that is a good thing. Now Sorcerers can to it too, and i don't like that. Carefull Spell was great for Hypnotic Pattern and Scupt Spell was great for Fireball. Now no one will play an Evoker, becase every arcane caster gets its signature ability... They should come up with new, exciting ways to alter your spells! Maybe make it target a different saving throw? Socerers get Heightened Spell, so this could be the Wizards answer so it? Maybe make it a touch spell with a meele spell attack instead of ranged spell wich allows a saving throw? This could be cool, risky and strong. About "Evocation Savant": What about removing the "half cost for scribing spells of a particular school"-part and instead make it: "Choose two Evocation spell from the Arcane spell list, one of first level and one of 2nd level. You add those spells to your spellbook without needing to cast Scribe Spell. In addition, whenever you gain an odd level in this class, choose an Evocation spell from the Arcane spell list of the highest spell level you can choose from and add it to your spellbook without needing to cast Scribe Spell. So you get an additional free Evocation spell of 3rd Level at level 5, one of 4th Level at level 7 and so on.

I really like the idea of making each spell modification increase the new modified Wizard spell level by 1. This creates a significant real time cost to using the modified spell.
