I believe the air elemental that can wear armor is called the Air myrmidon. Great picture of it (MToF), and really adds to the idea that a whiling dervish of air and armor is a thing that could take some hits without any effect.
2023-02-23 16:46:58 +0000 UTCI've never worked out a way for it to be actually useful, but it feels like Pact of the Blade ("You can use your action to create a pact weapon in your empty hand. … You are proficient with it while you wield it.") opens up the possibility of what you might call a "Baboon-lock". Pair it in a very very unoptimised game with a rogue dip for a totally impractical wildshaped charisma-based sneak attack. I'm not sure what the joke is where the punchline is Improved Pact Weapon sharpshooter ape?
