Something I’ve found somewhat effective in real play vs pcs is long game with a warlock. Getting intel, Dream spammed on a short rest, drain the resources and then attack with summons when they’re weak. Archfey offers good defences, pact of chain is useful to bother from afar or obscured, Svirfneblin to cast non detection at will. Not necessarily the best for a conventional combat, but interesting in a more ‘long game’ way.

Most enemy spellcasters have decent wisdom saving throws.
Another way to get the spellcaster to drop concentration: not just hit for big damage but hit many times, as the concentration saving throw happens each time the spellcaster takes damage. Polearm master, crossbow expert, flurry of blows, eldritch blast, and especially magic missile...
Negatively affecting the enemy spellcaster's saving throw also helps: mind sliver (overrated), unsettling words, heightened spell...
