Hi, one of you asked for a solution for the intersection between the ray and objects. I implemented an ambient occlusion based mask that will blur out hard, intersecting edges. It does not account for objects blocking paths of the light, it will only ever be an approximation of volumetric light (even though blocking may theoretically possible... Have to think on that one a bit).

Hi, the Godray Tutorialfile.blend contains the exact file i made in the video. The other one is the rigged/Geometrynoded version :)

https://builder.blender.org/download/daily/archive/I used the alpha version of Blender 3.2.0 (95005bbe02cf) for this project.
The elements are already part of the file "ProceduralBuilding-GeometryNodes_Fields.blend".
However, I also attached the elements pure, without the node setup as well.
